I purchased this booster for use on a trip. I wanted something with a tray that also folds up. This appeared to be the best value. I like the small size and washability. It was simple to install this on a regular chair, and it's nice that you can use the straps to secure the tray when carrying it. Other folding boosters require that you carry the tray separately.

We don't live near family but travel to see them a couple of times a year. With all the luggage that it takes to get family with baby from place to place, I was glad to find this online. It was great to be able to ship it to my destination and it be small enough that my family won't have any issues storing it for future visits. My son had no problem going from his regular home high chair to this. It was easy to put together, easy to clean and then broke down small enough to be easy to store. The price was great for something like this.

Perfect for Grandma's House

This is the perfect high chair for keeping at Grandma's house or for taking with you on visits. It is very easy to secure to any kitchen or dining room chair. It can easily be stored away when not it use, unlike big bulky high chairs. The back folds down for compact storage or portability. Can also be used as a booster seat when seating a toddler at the table without the tray attached. We now own two of these seats since we have three grandchildren under the age of two who visit frequently. Our granddaughters love to play with the seats on the floor, sitting their dolls in the seats and "feeding" them!

This is my favorite investment we've made on baby gear thus far. My twins are 13 months old now, and as we have to buy everything in 2's, it was important to keep the cost down, but still get decent quality and safety. This item matched everything. I now have 2 of these in the van, and have used them at restaurants, and family gatherings. The kids get to sit right at the table with everyone, and have their own tray.... just like a regualr highchair, only, you can take the tray off, and push them right up to the table. Saves space, and is great for mom's on the go. I have always been nervous about restaurant highchairs, so this product makes it so I don't have to worry about that anymore!

This is a great booster for both it's durability and funtionality, not to mention it is very easy to clean! We bought our first Safety 1st Deluxe Care fold up booster when our daughter was 10 months old, as we were finding the hight chair cleaning becoming tedious. We were so pleased w/ it that we chose the same exact one for our second daughter and continue to use them both as their primary table chairs. At first we found the tray removal tough but hardly notice it anymore. I also prefered the neutral colors of the booster to some of the animal prints and plaids that are out there.

This is actually the second one of these that I have bought. The first one I had for a whole year and still have it and use. The reason for the second purchase was that the tray broke, the part where it connects on the right side. But I loved the product so much I thought it was still worth the money to buy a whole other chair just so I can have the new tray and have the option of having one strapped to the chair and another to use for coloring and playdough and stuff on the floor or for transporting to other places. I have loved this product and would still recommend it. But again the tray only lasted one year for me. Still think it was worth the money though.

I bought this instead of a high chair and it works great!! My son started off using it with the tray and now has outgrown the tray and sits at the table with the seat. This booster seat was a life saver, much cheaper than buying a high chair and works the same in my opinion. For those of you who have chunky little monkeys like my son, just use the seat at the table without using the detachable tray and use the food tray for less mess. It's awesome!!!

This is a very practical and economical high chair. If you are short on space, need to transport the chair frequently, don't want to buy a separate booster when your toddler is ready to join the table, or want something that will be very easy to clean this is a good option.

I haven't had any issues with size. My son is a chunky 16 month old, and has used the chair since he was 6 months old with no problems. We no longer use the tray at home, but have used it on the biggest setting while visiting friends recently. It still fits fine, we've just decided to let him sit at the table with us instead. However, when we do use the tray we use the final setting so I don't expect that the tray would fit a bigger-than-average two-year-old or a very big 18-month old. Of course, every kid is different. The seatbelt still works great and has quite a bit of room to adjust as he grows, and there is still quite a bit of wiggle-room in the width.

This thing is horrible!! I read the reveiws and didn't think it sounded too bad...they weren't great...but for something that would only be used twice a month tops...
Anyways...used 2 times in 24 hrs, pieces were in the box, broked, more pieces broke off with normal use...
Straps don't strap baby in at waist, they strap them in at the diaper, which makes the straps basically pointless...
HATE IT! WILL RETURN IT!

I've had this high chair for 2 months now and i still have to use it because i don't have money to go and get a GOOD one. The fact that it is portable is nice, it came in handy during our holiday travels. Yet, like other reviews have stated, your child must be petite to fit comfortably in this chair. My daughter is 6 months old and already doesn't fit in it very well. the tray has 3 settings so it "grows" with your child. but it can only grow outwards not up. My daughter has chunky thighs and the tray is pushing down on them already. Plus I have the strap on almost the biggest setting and it's still snug. the middle strap that goes between the legs does not adjust so it makes it snug around her thighs also. If your little one is petite than i can see how it would be a good product, but for us with chunkier babies, it does not work.

I purchased this seat when my son was about 8 months, because we have a small dining space and I wanted to travel to family members homes with it also. My son is 1month from his 3rd birthday and it still works great for us. My son is very tall, about 40 inches tall. I stopped using the tray a while ago. We now push him up to the table and it fits him fine.

I HATE the tray on this booster seat!! It's the most difficult thing to get on and off. The last time my Daughter sat in this, it took 2-3 people to get the stupid tray off -- my Daughter is very impatient, as well, so when she wants out, someone better get her OUT and SOON. We do not use this booster seat, so it was $20 wasted.

The tray is the worst to remove. If you have to take it off before you can clean it completely, everything flies off because it is so hard to get off. I am the only one who can get the tray off with the least hassle, but never hassle free. We don't feel there is much room either. You are better off paying a little more for something easier to use. I am looking for another one for my childcare, and I know I won't be buying this again!

Excellent Chair!

Comments about Safety 1st Deluxe Care Fold Up Booster:
This is a very good booster for the money. Space is limited in my home, so instead of a highchair, we opted for a booster. My 8 month old daughter loves being at the table with us! It was a 1 minute installation from taking it out of the box to putting my daughter in it to eat. I love that you can remove the top tray so the mess is gone, making cleaning your little one's hands easier. A soapy rag is all you need to clean it. No pads to get smelly or stained, either. Easy to remove from the adult chair and take with you anywhere. I do see other parents' problems with the size recommendations. My older girls are only 44 lbs. and there's no way they could fit in this. But my 8 month old 17 lb. baby does just fine with lots of room to grow, yet is secure. I used to have another booster for my older girls, but it slid on the adult chair, no matter how tight the straps were. There are rubber grips on the feet of this booster to prevent it from sliding. All in all, this is a great booster!

So yea my husband and I bought this booster seat to have our one year old sit in it , and it is quite small around the straps and the tray hooks very cheaply to the base. The straps are horrible to try and put through the holes. I wouldnt recommend this product we are taking it back bc she doesnt even fit comfortably in it and i would rather pay $6.00 more dollars and get something that will last a long time and when she sits in it she is comfy!!!

This booster seat is a great product. For the price, it performs very well. My son is an average size 9 month old, and it works very well for him. It is great that the tray has three different depth adjustments, the only complaint I have is that I find the tray very difficult to attach, but over time, it may loosen up.
