This is a great car seat, comfortable and well made without the high price tag of a Britax. It's a little heavy, but we have a cheap cosco one we purchased for plane rides, traveling etc.

This seat is basically a less expensive version of the Eddie Bauer Deluxe high back booster seat, which is also made by Safety First. The arm rests are smaller and not as soft as the Eddie Bauer seat. The seat is not as deep as the E.B. seat, but the cupholder is nicer on this seat. I have problems with the cupholder on my Eddie Bauer seat collapsing. The strap adjustment mechanism is the same on both seats.
