"It's basically what I wanted"

Comments about Safety 1st Summit Booster Car Seat Triton:
This seat is great. It is a little hard to figure out where to secure the latch belts if you are not using the latch system in your car. There is not enough support for your child's head when he or she falls asleep. Others than that, this is a great seat and my baby seems to love it.

Good Car Seat

The car seat is easy to install and my son loves it, for the most part. It is tight in the crotch area so he gets pinched in the privates. I am concerned about when Winter rolls back around how comfortable it is going to be with winter gear on. I find it mildly challenging to unlock the buckle because it is tight on him.
Not a great seat.

Once I installed this and put my 1 yr old in it, I could tell it wasn't a great seat. I tried it for a couple of months because I really wanted to like it. I'm really sorry I went for the cheaper seat.
*The straps twist easily.
*The padding in the middle pushes my son's head forward. No big deal, I'll just recline it all the way.
*The recline actually pushes the bottom of the seat up so he is sitting in a 'V' position with his head forward and his feet up.
*In the recline position the base comes out over the edge of the car's bottom seat.
*Still not a huge deal until we took a longer drive and he couldn't sleep comfortably. His head was flopping around with no support.
I finally just bought a new one and I'll use this in our second car but not for more than short trips around town.
great! I have 2 get another one
