Comments about Safety 1st Vantage Booster Car Seat Pacer:
Chose this booster seat due to its safety ratings and cost. Seemed like a good value. I agree with the customer who complained about the straps being thin and twisting. I've also had trouble tightening the belt all the way with the pull-strap. AND, after a half-hour of wrestling with all the plastic harness guides that need to be removed in order to take the seat pad off to wash, I really regret buying this. Ive had other brands where taking the seat pad off did not require FULL DISASSEMBLY. Indeed, it was made by people who did not think of the practical, day-to-day needs (such as washing, installing it in different vehicles, etc). Would never buy this again and definitely don't recommend it to anyone.
Very easy to use

I really like this car seat, but if you have bigger bone kids the buckle part next to their legs is very tight. You really have to watch that you don't pinch their legs. This car seat does have an expiration date also, so if you have younger kids or plan on having more children its something to think about for the cost.
Cheap seat belts

This car seat looks good, and seems comfortable. I like it, except for one annoying problem -- the seat belt quality. The strap material for the seat belts is very cheap and very thin, so it constantly folds up, wrinkles and gets stuck in the plastic clips of the seat belt. Also, I do not trust the plastic chest connector. It has popped open on me a couple times, and it just doesn't seem very strong.
Love IT

I bought this last night, and it was super easy to install. I used the Latch system and it took about 2 minutes. My 2 year old son loves his new seat, and it is perfect in size. He will get many years out of this seat. I definitely recommend this seat.
