Many of the bicycles in the US throughout the 20th century were made by Schwinn, which just goes to show that you can trust the company when it comes to picking the first bicycle for your child. Indeed, ever since it was founded in Chicago in 1895, Schwinn has been making quality bicycles with a premium on safety and comfort but without compromising performance, and it was one of the first bicycle companies to offer bikes for kids. Today, Schwinn continues to offer a wide variety of kids bikes in vibrant colors, and it also now offers exercise bikes and other fitness equipment, as well. We offer a wide variety of Schwinn bikes for you to choose from, both with and without training wheels and in different sizes. We also offer accessories to go with these bikes like storage baskets and saddles, as well as biking safety gear like helmets and pads. We have Schwinn exercise bikes, as well, in both upright and recumbent positions, in order to help you and your child stay fit.
Bikes Scooters Skates
Children, especially those aged three and up, love to move around on wheels since this allows them to feel more grown-up and independent while allowing them to explore their surroundings in a more fun way, which is why bikes, scooters and skates are popular gift items. Bikes, scooters and scates can provide them with exercise, too, so they can start being fit from an early age, and help them develop a good sense of balance, muscle coordination and fast reflexes.
We offer bikes, scooters and skates for both boys and girls and in various sizes to fit your child just right, all of which are made by trusted manufacturers that put a premium on safety and performance.

The seat is not adjustable to make more horizontal and has a weird angle pointing up like in picture. You will have to go out and purchace another seat that is ajustable for I guess Mongoose (not Schwinn, its actually Mongoose) was saving some money by using a plastic sleve seat that can only be ajusted up or down but cannot be tiped up or down. It's about a 35-45 degrees up from horizontal and can't be adjusted.
Decent bike but very uncomfortable seat!!!

The bike looks nice but the seat is only adjustable in height and is angled in a very uncomfortable upward position. My son likes the bike though so on top of the 130 I already spent, I now have to spend more to get a new seat. Also, it is a mongoose, not a schwinn!!
it was not what I expected.
