This product seemed to be a good idea when we purchased it because our daughter loves elmo, but it only excited her for a short time and it is more of a pain than helpful to potty training!!! you have to practicaly take it apart and put it together everytime you want to empty the pot. Also the elmo is located in a terrible spot it often gets dribbled on. This potty chair is now just a expensive stepping stool. i would recomend the saving your money and getting the 13 doller frog potty our mother in law has it and all the kids love it and its easy to clean!!!!!

I like this product because it came with a reward booklet with stickers. It is also easy to take apart and clean. Elmo says quite a few phrases which gives it a little variety. I received it Site to Store which meant free shipping and received it before the estimated delivery date. My son is still getting used to needing to sit still on the potty chair, but he is not afraid of it like I thought he might be. :)

We purchased this potty for our 2 year old daughter. She enjoys Elmo and giving him a "high five" and has used the potty well. However, I feel that there are more negative aspects that outweigh it's "cuteness". Each time she uses the potty you have to take the white cover off to access the bowl. Also the Elmo is positioned right in front of the potty and while she's using it her legs naturally press on his hand, so he's constantly making noise. Also the location of Elmo causes there to be dribble on him and it's a pain to clean the cracks/crevices. I really do not like this product and wish I had purchased something else. The intentions were good, just not practical.

My husband purchased this for our son because he likes Elmo. This potty is no good for little boys. The splash guard is not high enough. Whenever he has to use #1, it splashes everywhere like on his legs, shirt, and onto the floor. It's hard to clean also because the urine gets onto Elmo and leaks every time. I'm tired of always having to clean the floor and detach everything to clean. Going to have to hunt for another potty.

Product is cute but very hard to use. Once you take the white seat off to empty the potty it is very hard to put back on. The tabs on the bottom bend or slip and don't want to go back in the slots. Not fun to do when child is using it several times a day.

I read all the reviews before i bought this and was not sure weather i should buy or not but i did it anyways. Elmo Speaks just fine, the top white seat comes off with out a problem, very easy to remove the bottom tray and it has an off button in case elmo is becoming too much of a distraction. My daugther loves it and i don't think we could have made a better choice

It is such a pain getting the white chair part of this potty off and on to dump the contents in the toilet. The tabs that fit in underneath eventually bent and broke off. We just use this as a step stool now and bought the frog potty. It works so much better

i'm a bit of a clean freak and i found this potty chair gross.... whenever my son used it in the morning his urine pressure would hit the cup and get all over the place. when i went to clean it, it totally ruined the voices of elmo that ended up speaking different languages anyways. we had to take off the front yellow part and there was urine stuck in there.. i ended up throwing the bottom part away because it grossed me out so bad. plus my son got distracted when elmo did talk and didn't want to go potty, all he did was want to push elmo's hand... i wouldn't buy this at all!

I had the same problem with the language as someone else did. I thought I would love it because my son loves Elmo. I was so disappointented when I tried to turn the English speaking part on, and all I got was Spanish. I'm all for learning another language, but I'd like to hear it in enlgish too. There are no other elmo seats in my area, so I can't even try another one out.

I would have loved to have tried this potty chair, but after following instructions on removing the demo batteries and putting in new ones, I was surprised to find out the the "A" setting for English, apparently was Spanish and the "B" setting which was Spanish was really Spanish and the "C" setting was French. I have no problem with the foreign languages, but would have liked for the English to work. After trying the different settings, it stopped working altogether. We don't speak Spanish or French so it was pretty useless for me to even have my son try it out. I just returned and went with something else. Pretty disappointed since my son like Elmo.

I have two potty chairs. I had to get this new one because my old potty didn't have a guard for boys. The new potty is the only one the grandbabies will use now because it is so comfortable to sit on and because they love the talking Elmo.

I bought this chair as a last resort for our 2 year old son. He already had two other potty chairs but he couldn't sit properly on either one. He loves elmo so this is a plus! I let him try sitting on it for several days and making elmo talk. We've been diaper free at home for two days now. He can do both of his businesses on it with no problems what so ever. I don't worry about him wetting in the floor or pottying on the seat. It's worth the investment. The only problem I have with it is that it seems to be easy to accidentally change the language, on it. I've set it three times for english and ever other day it's on spanish or french. My son might be changing it I don't know, it's not a real issue unless your picky about that sort of thing.

I absolutely love this potty chair! We tried several other options but never liked them for our son. Their protectors for boys were worthless! We finally tried this one, and we love it! Our son loves Elmo and enjoys him praising his progress! The set-up is easy and quite durable. The stickers and reward book are also a nice bonus to the purchase. I would recommend this product to anyone!
