Received this as a gift and LOVE it. I recommend it to all my new mom friends. My daughter has been using this seat since she was first learning to sit. It was just snug enough to hold her upright then. The toys on the tray kept her occupied while I did what I needed to. She is still using it at the dinner table at 1.5 years. Even when the toys become too simple for them, the tray is good for placing baby's foods if its too early to give them a bowl or plate (because they'll just empty it on themselves). I expect to be able to use this for a few more years because the orange foam seating is removable for toddlers or bigger kids. We even keep it in our car sometimes for those few restaurants that don't offer a proper booster seat. I love that it has a belt and secure buckles to fasten it to the chair. If you think its too bulky, just stow away the tray and use only the booster seat alone. I easily carry it in one arm with my child in my other arm as we go to the restaurant down the street. This is a great investment.

We bought this after not receiving the Bumbo we wanted that was listed on our registry (3 years ago). We purchased this because we liked how it would grow with our son and we would definately get our moneys worth. We started using it when our son was 4 months and and we are STILL using it as a booster seat; he is almost 3. My only complaint is that the tray is hard to turn....can't imagine a baby trying to turn it. But maybe this has improved over the years. Like I said, we got ours 3 years ago. I definately recommend this over the Bumbo. Not that the bumbo is bad, but this will last you longer, its safe and the toys keep baby entertained for a good length of time.

My 4 mon old only wants to sit up, so I bought this for him yesterday. I had it together in no time, and he loves it. I had the Bumbo with my daughter. It was so small in the seat and the leg openings that it didn't last her very long. I love that the liner in this seat comes out, so I'm sure we'll use it for quite some time to come. I would definitely recommend this seat.

My mil bought this for my 4 month old daughter and it is a big hit. My girl absolutely loves sitting in this chair. Way better and safer than the bumbo seat. I started using this seat when my child was between 4 and 5 months old. He is now 18 months old and we still use it! He crawls in it himself sometimes. I love that it has a very sturdy base that makes it difficult for him to topple over in it. The foam cover that removes to make more room for bigger kids is genius! When my niece comes over, we put the insert in for her, and take it out when my son uses it. I really can't praise this seat enough.

So far I have no complaints about this item; it was easy to put together and my baby seems to enjoy it. She's seven months old now and she likes playing with the toys (some more than others), the cups, and the straps that go around her waist. I like the fact that the interior (orange) seat can be removed when she gets a little bigger, so she can still sit in the seat comfortably. I have this and the Bumbo; if your baby is on the larger side, this seat is preferable in that it's a better fit for a larger baby, especially since the interior orange seat can be removed.

I have a 3 month old girl that I bought this product for. We have only had it for about a week. My baby likes to sit up and enjoys sitting in the chair for short periods of time. She also looks at the toys, but does not play with the toys yet. It was easy to put together except for one of the toys. My husband was able to get the toy on with his first try.

Our little girl loves it. The toys and the tray were the selling point for us. The foam insert makes it soft for infants and you can remove it once they get bigger. The plastic seems to stand up better than the competitors.

The little plastic feet tend to fall off anytime you move it. But it's a slight issue in my opinion. We threw on a little super glue.

I bought this for my son, who was starting to get a flat head and needed more time off his back. At 3 months, he can sit in it independently for about 1/2 hour at a time. He really likes the toys. My 2 year old daughter LOVES the chair, too, and definitely still fits in it. She even likes us to put the toy tray on it for her.

The best things are:
-It buckles. This just makes me feel safer, especially since my daughter will have a harder time pulling my son out of the chair.
-The toy tray. It's got 4 fun toys with flat space to hold others
-The removable orange cushion thing.
-The versatility and lastability of this product. As previously mentioned, my 2 year old (who is chubby) can still sit in this comfortably. With the orange insert, even. It really will fit until children are 3 or 4. Which is awesome.

Things they could improve:
-The tray is kind of hard to set up. Especially putting the toys in. I broke several nails trying to snap them in. (Not a catastrophe, but annoying.)
-The little cupholder things seem extraneous.
-It is a smidge too big for little infant butts.

I bought this when my son was about 4 months old (too young to sit on his own, but old enough to be bored by the bouncy seat.) He is now 7 months and it is still one of his favorite places to hang out. I'll put him in this outside the tub while I shower; we've fed him in it while visiting friends; we've play with him and the toys with the seat on the table or on the floor; and sometimes it's just a nice place for him to play by himself. He loves the attached toys, in particular the little cups. It's lightweight so I can carry it in one hand and the baby in the other while we move from room to room in the house. I like to bring it with me when we visit friends and family at their house, but it doesn't fold down at all, so it's a little bulky to travel with. However, my son liked it so much we ended up buying a second one to keep at my mom's so we didn't have to bring ours everytime. The other nice part is that he can grow into it. He's about 15 pounds now and is still fits in the infant seat, although I'm considering taking that out and seeing how he likes the booster seat by itself.

It is very supportive and she has really gotten a lot of use out of it. She uses this much more often than her bumbo. The tray on this is much better than the tray you can buy for the bumbo. We purchased this product after seeing someone else use it. Our son is 20 lbs and 6mths old, he can sit in this very well and eats in it everyday at home. It is very stable as the bottom is pretty wide. The toys help to keep him entertained either while eating or I sometimes put him in it on the floor and he can look around and play. I have found the biggest problem with it is the fact that sometimes it is a little difficult to keep the big tray on the track that it spins on if it starts to get off track. Good item over all and everything is plastic except the seat so it is easy to clean and the seat is well cushioned.

Got this chair for my son who was bored of his swings but could not sit by himself. We even use some of his floor gym toys on this by clipping them to the two bees/butterflies and switch them out. This toy has not only entertained him but we use it to feed him as a precusor to the high chair. i bought this today, and went home to assmble it right away. It took me a little bit to figure out how to attach the tray part together, but I got it. (attach the pieces THEN put the screws in) when my mom put my nephew in, he was so happy :) Everyone in my family was more than delighted when they saw him smiling in it. Especially, his mother.

My baby boy loves this seat! We started him in it little by little at first. The more we place him in it, the more he wants to be in it. He reaches for the toys. I like that it's open so there's room to put some of his other toys to reach for, like his pacifier and rings (and probably a sippy cup when he's older). If my son gets bored with the toys in front of him, all I have to do is turn the convenient little tray! I use it to feed him when we visit other people. It's a great little seat to bring with us to restaurants, too (as long as there are chairs). I love that he can use this until he's 3 or 45 lbs.! What a great product! It was also very easy to put together out of the box with the included instructions.

I've worked with infants in daycare and babysitting for almost 5 years now and have seen how different children grow and learn at different rates. My daughter was one of the ones who wanted to sit up and see everything from the start but the traditional bumbo seat wasn't supportive enough for her and we bought this product when she was only 11 weeks old. She sat in very well and was well supported. She loves to sit in it in the kitchen and watch me cook in the mornings and it gives her things to look at and a new perspective so she is not just lying down all the time. I absolutly love the summer infant summer seat. My baby girl is 8 months old, however when she was 6 months she was not sitting up on her own, so I decided to purchase an infant. I decide this brand becasue the other brand would not fit my chubby babys thighs. It was the best decision she easy fits into this seat, she is now 8 months and sitting up on her own I can leave her in this seat for at least two hours. She chews on the toys to sooth her gums. I used a bumbo for my daughter, but her legs got too chunky for it when she was 6 months old. I got the super seat for my shower, and my 6-month-old son loves it! He loves playing in it, he eats in it, and we even use it when we take baths together.

I've used the bumbo before with children I have babysat, and thought it was great. When I got pregnant I decided to give this seat a try and I am so glad I did. My son loves this seat. It has everything good about the bumbo and more. I love that this seat has an activity tray that very easily slides on or off the chair. My son can use it to play in or just to sit in. I love that once he gets bigger, you just take out the insert and he can still use the chair as a booster seat. This chair will actually grow with your child. I have heard of children tipping over and doing a face plant in other brands of infant seats (I assume they used it longer than they were supposed to but I don't know). This chair seems so much safer. They are actually strapped into it, the base around the outside is wide and if you still feel your child could lean forward and tip it, you could ease your mind by putting the toy tray on. Overall, awesome seat.

This product is awesome. Im in love with it and so is my 4 month old baby girl. I use it when its playtime and i remove the 360 tray when its time for feeding. Its absolutely the greatest product ive ever bought for my baby. FORGET THE BUMBO. i bought the bumbo and ended up returning it for this one because the bumbo u have to buy the tray seperately which is a bummer of $15.00, This came with everything and its very useful and has restraining seat belt and also securely attaches to the chair when its used as a booster seat. IM DEFINITELY IN LOVE WITH THE SUPERSEAT!!!

We love this! My DD is 3 months old. We have a ton of baby gear for her and she just loves this. (She has 2 jumpers, an excersaucer, a walker, a swing and the FP infant to toddler rocker.) Now that she doesn't want to be in the swing anymore I had to find something else just for those few minutes a couple times a day when I really can't hold her. This is it! She loves this chair. She'll stay in this long enough for me to fold a whole load of wash. She can't turn the tray yet but she's happy with the toys on the tray. I love that they aren't beeping and buzzing and lighting up. They are quiet enough that I can think (except for her squealing and singing!).
As for the people who said this was hard to put together, I'm not sure what they are talking about. My 9 year old put it together without the directions while I made lunch! I checked it over and he got it right. Fairly intuitive I would think if my third grader can do it. I know he's a smart boy but c'mon. :)

Its a step before the stand up excise saucer, giving babies the opportunity to sit up and gain body control. I bought this for my daughter when she was 5 weeks old because she was too small for toys like her exersaucer, but she liked sitting up and we wanted to engage her.
This toy is awesome! She sits in it on her own and looks around for at least 10 mins at a time. For a 5 week old that is great!
It has a really nice snack tray, and the tray moves around very easily.
I did have trouble with two of the toys, they were a tight fit, but other than that assembly was easy!

This product is amazing! We started using it at 12 weeks as just the infant seat and it was great. Our baby loved sitting up "on his own". Now that he is 5 months old he plays with all the toys and it is perfect for feeding solid foods because he is still too small for the high chair. It's super easy to clean, I just wipe it down with a Lysol wipe. I would suggest buying this seat if you are in the market for an infant seat. It's more comfy for their spine than the Bebe pod or Bumbo.

I bought the bebe pod and used it for 2 weeks and then went to use the tray and it was VERY tight on my babies legs!!!My girlfriend has the bumbo and I tried hers out and I had the same issue. I then discovered this one and I am VERY VERY HAPPY with it! Its by far a better product and its half the price with the 20% coupon they always give out!

At first I was debating between the bumbo and bebe pod, but when I saw this for $20 cheaper and so many more activities I had to get it. Now my 4 month old is a lot more entertained then she would have been with either one. Another good thing is it changes into a booster seat, or if you have a larger infant you can take the orange piece off and they'll still fit! unlike bumbo and bebepod one size fits all...

I just bought this product and my 4 month old son absolutely loves it! We tried the bumbo seat out at the store and he looked so uncomfortable and had this look on his face of discomfort. I then saw this, sat him in it at the store and he immediately began grabbing for the the toys and began to smile! I love that the seat goes up to the shoulders for better support! The assembly was super easy and all of maybe 5 minutes to put the toys on the tray and screw in each tray piece (4 screws total)! Totally recommend this over the bumbo seat!

My 11 wk old loves this chair. I love that it has a booster insert for smaller babies that is removable once they get older. Its nice to have the little snack tray and a table that rotates 360 degrees.

Safety buckles are attached and you can even attach this booster seat to a dining chair. Glad I got this instead of a Bumbo - its more "dual purpose" for the same price.

I packed the underside with baby clothes then put it in our luggage and filled the seat with more clothes (we did not take the toy ring/tray). My son is 6 months and just starting to sit up on his own but gets a little topsy. We tried balancing him with pillows and Boppy, but they's fall over after a few minutes. A co-worker told me about Bumbo, and when I went to buy it, the Bumbo is only good until 12 months old, and all the parts were separate. This chair came all in one, and is good up to 4 years old. Not as "tight" sitting as Bumbo either. Easy to put together too - 5 minutes tops. And the front piece of the tray slides out so you can take the baby in and out with ease. Think some other users just didn't read the instructions.

I chose not to buy a high chair, and bought this to use as a booster seat/high chair/ exer-saucer. The play ring was WONDERFUL for traveling--it gave my son somewhere to sit and play and stay occupied. It's much more travel friendly than other baby equipment. But he grew too old for the play ring quickly. I use the booster seat still, but the other pieces were long ago put in storage. My biggest complaint is that the tray is not nearly big enough for food or even other toys. We have to put a fold up table by the booster seat for my son to self-feed since the tray is too small to put even a small bowl on. For this reason, I still might recommend a standard booster seat with a large tray.

my husband and i bought this seat when our daughter was about 3 mos to help her be off the back of her head. she is now just 6 mos and still loves it. she would never sit in the bumbo seat because she is too busy. that's why we love the superseat because it has fun toys around it to hold her attention especially the mirror and spinning ball. i love the bright colors of it and it is practical too. we take off the tray and use it to feed her cereal. plus as she gets older it will become her booster seat at the family table. i can't believe people were all about the bumbo seat because this is much better. it is $10 more and worth it. my husband puts together all her new toys and he had it together in a snap. so glad we saw this on the aisle or we would have a boring bumbo seat.

I bought this for my 4 month old son who has a bit of a flathead from sleeping on his back. He has been holding his head up since the day he was born so he loves sitting up. I was actually looking for an exersaucer but couldn't find one I liked so I moved to the Bumpo's and that is where I ran into this. My husband assembled it in probably 10 minutes. He said it arrived mostly already assembled. As soon as we put the baby in the seat he started to play/hit at the toys. The deciding factor for us was that we would get more use out of this seat over time then the Bumpo and this seat would keep baby entertained, plus it cradles only his lower back unlike swings/bouncers. I read reviews about blue/yellow seats. I don't really know what the different seat colors mean. Our seat is Orange.
