I checked out a ton of different convertible car seats. I am so glad I picked this one. My son loves it, and seems so comfy in it. Its like a little couch! The fabric is very nice. I am not the best at installing, so I make my sister or my husband do it, but it wasn't too bad. It is a little tricky doing up the buckles between his legs, but it has to be tight to be safe! I think this car seat is the best. Don't debate anymore, just get it!

I did a ton of research on all the convertable car seats out there. I went with this one for two reasons the crash test rating and the detachable headrest. I have a Jeep Compass and our current car seat barley fits in the back seat. So I wanted to make sure this one would fit unfourtunately even with taking the head rest off so I can use it rear facing for a few more months it doesn't. For one it is wider than our current Graco seat so it doesnt fit in the middle and if you put it on either side you have to push the driver or passenger seat so far forward it would be impossible to drive or ride comfortably. I'm sure it would work great if you specifically get it to use after one year or have a giant SUV. But I would consider my car to be a normal size I thought it was roomy in the back myself. Also the instalation was very dificult you have to remove the seat cover to acsess the LATCH system and once you get it in place and tight enough you have to break your finger nails off to get the cover snapped back on. Very poor design. So after I had done all that and tried to slide the front passenger seat back I was very upset to realize it wasn't going to work for us.:(

I love this carseat. Even with the extended back, it still fits in my car without making the front seats have to be pushed up to the dashboard. I have a Toyota Avalon which is very spacious inside. I had to recline the carseat in order to prevent my son from having his head fall forward when he sleeps but that was easy to resolve by rolling his cloth floor mat that he no long uses.

I wished that I purchased this initially because he grew out of his travel system carseat within 6 months. Fortunately, I got the travel system because I loved the stroller.

We bought this car seat for our 6 month old son. He loves it. No more fighting to get him in the car seat! He finds it very comfortable and goes to sleep in it almost the minute he gets in it. He never did that with his previous seat. It is best to adjust the straps BEFORE putting in the car if you drive a small car or SUV though otherwise your the back of the seat gets in your way when adjusting the straps in a rearward facing position. That is the only down side we have found. Great product!!!

This car seat would definately hold up and seems like it would be very comfy and easy to use. But if you have a baby with chubby legs this is not the car seat for you. My 10 month old's legs would not fit without the straps being either too loose or the straps and bottom buckle pinching her legs. I even tried taking all the extra cushions out. Don' buy this if you have a chubby baby. I am returning mine.

It is exactly what it says. I have the mailan collection and decided to get a convertible seat to save money in the long run. I only paid 30-40 dollars more(can't remember which) than the milan infant carseat&base. But I don't have to buy another carseat til he needs to sit in a backless booster seat. Without the headrest and with all the infant padding inside it looks like it will fit and infant nice and snug. and just to see if it would truely fit a toddler I had my 3 1/2 year old sit in it without the extra infant padding and with the headrest and it looks like I bought it for him. It fit him nicely. And the set up was so easy because there was no set up; you only had to put the headrest in if you needed it and the cup holder on.

This was my first convertible car-seat, since this is my first child. It is a great car-seat. Plenty of room for my little one. MUCH more comfortable. The only problems I have with it are that the crouch strap isn't quite as long as I wish it would be (my boy has chubby legs) and that the installation was a terror! It wasn't the fault of the seat, it was all human error but goodness, I felt stupid! All in all, a very good buy.

This was even better in person then online. I was shocked at just how nice this car seat is. My husband called it the E-class of carseats. My son loves it. The fabric is so soft. Lots of cushions. I wish I had a seat like it for myself.

my twins love their new carseats. With such a high rating from NHTSA and other parents, this product couldn't be better. I hope many others find this so great too! :) It should be carried in stock whereever carseats are sold is my ONLY complaint.

I am raising my grandson and was looking for a car seat that was bigger than the infant car seats. (If I had bought this one first, I never would have even bothered with the infant seat) He is in and out of it several times a day. When it was rear-facing it was nice not to have the head-rest on as it really gives more room for the front seat passenger. (With any other convertible car seats I have to have my front pass seat all the way forward & upright.) With this one it is really more comfortable for everyone! Plus with the added height and weight he was able to stay rear-facing until he was 15 months old! (And even then I only changed it because he was really wanting to see what was going on. He is little, so I would guess most kids would have to be forward facing by about 15 months.) What an added safety feature I thought only possible with seats costing 300+. Now he is 20 months old and still loves the comfort, I love how it fits snug! I mean this thing doesn't move an inch when I anchor it in! You will notice the extra safety features on the straps that keep it in place when you install this one! Seriously, if I had the money I would buy one for every car in the family! It is that wonderful!

I searched for weeks trying to find the perfect carseat for my little man. I went back and forth on a few different brands and models. I wanted something sturdy, reliable, safe and comfortable, but at a reasonable price. When I came across this carseat, at first I thought it was too good to be true, but after reading the other reviews and talking to my boyfriend, we decided to give it a try and we Love it!!! It was easy to install and our son loves his new seat, he looks so comfy and secure in it. it doesn't get to hot from the heat of the car and it keeps him warm when its cold and he just looks great in it. That carseat isn't going anywhere either. I still have it rear facing and I did have to use the headrest cause my little guy was less then an inch from the top of the carseat with out the head rest and it says that you can only use the carseat without the headrest if the child has more then an inch from the top. But that is ok, it still works great and we would definetly recommend this product. Great product!!!! Especially for the price!!!

This seat is perfect for my 14 month old. The weight limit is definitely a benefit since the product will last us til he is in kindergarten, at least! This is the best deal for your $ and I highly recommend this. it is comfy and easy to remove the seat cushion, so it makes for an easy clean-up. Gavin loves this seat and never makes a fuss when he is in it or getting buckled in. Definitely worth the money spent on it!

I researched carseats for a few weeks before settling on this one for my fourth child. So far it has worked out nicely. It fits nice and snug in my Honda odyessy ( the front passenger seat is all the way up with the seat rear facing. I love that the weight limits are higher than most and yet the seat wasn't priced exuberantly. I would have paid $300+ for a britax had I though it was a safer seat however the truefit seems just as sturdy and safe.

I really love this careseat! It's easy to put in the car and really soft! I love that I don't have to rethread the straps and that it can face forward and backward. My daughter is only 5 months old and it fits her snugly and she looks safe in it! I would recommend it to other moms.

I purchased this car seat because my daughter quickly outgrew the carrier. I found it very easy to install and love the idea that it will be with her all the way up to 65lbs as a booster. Well worth the money in the long run.

When the carseat arrived, I was very pleased. It is very soft, plush, looks very comfortable and was very reasonably priced. It was, however, a little difficult to figure out and the instruction booklet wasn't as clear as it could have been.

The TrueFit is absolutely wonderful. It is very easy to install both with LATCH and seat belts (the built-in lock-offs are an added plus). It can be installed more upright when rearfacing an older child. The higher weight and height limits are identical to higher priced seats. The no-thread harness is a nice feature as is the included infant padding. My 2 yo is still rear facing in this seat and has 6 more lbs to go before reaching the 35 lb limit. The harness buckle has different positions as well. My 6yo niece still has shell room above her head, where as her head is above the shell in the marathon. This seat will definitely last your child in a harnessed seat until he is ready for a high backed booster around or after age 6.

Good seat, large enough for a child to grow in. A little tough to understand the directions for set up because they are pictures. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product. I am very pleased in its safety rating as well--gives me a piece of mind.

I bought this car seat after a lot of research that came out after it was named the only car seat to get a four star rating from the National Highway and Safety. It totally lived up to my expectations. It was very easy to install. I love that you never have to rethread the straps. It is very bulky (takes up the entire space between the driver and passenger seat when put in back seat rear facing) but I think it will take up less room when I switch to front facing.
