I Bought this potty seat because the theme for my son is pooh... The urine gaurd is very small and you have to sit him on it just right so he doesn't go on the floor... it maybe good for a girl but NOT for a boy...

The purchase, Several to choose from Walmart I looked at other sites but Walmart had the best looking at the best price of everywhere I looked. The Potty is sturdy and has nice features, doubles as a seat for over the potty in the bath room and part of the potty is a step for easier access for My Grandson. The price is great for what it is, The service was fast, after this experience I will always look to walmart for internet shopping

When I took this out of the box, I was so excited to put it together. Once I got it put together it seemed a little wobbly. It had batteries in it already and who knows how old they were but they did not work at first. I had to take them out and put in new batteries. It works just fine, however even when no one is around it; it still makes the noise as if someone pushed the handle. Overall I love the idea of it. Great price, and it is stable my son loves it.
Volume too low, kid thought it was a toy

I probably tried to start trianing too young. My kid got one look at this thing and tought it was a fun place to put her toys. I couldnt risk her attempting to stuff our real toilet with toys if she ever gained bathrm access so I packed it up until she's older. Meanwhile I can tell you when I sat her on it, the protective "urine guard" is too big for a lil girl (they shld make ones w/o that for those who have girls). And the volume on the flush music is barely audbile. But cheap so I'm not bothering to return it.

I thought this potty was so cute - it went with all the "Tigger and Pooh" items we had for our son.
Unfortunately, the splash guard is not big enough so he ends up peeing all over the place. No matter how I position him on the potty, I always end up cleaning a puddle of urine - not to mention whatever is running down his legs.
We've managed to have a successful first week of potty training, regardless. But I will be buying a new potty to prevent future messes.

I absolutely hate this potty chair!!! Great if u wanna clean up messes every time u use it. It has a boxy shape and my 23 month old daughter does not fit on it well. She cant sit back far enough so she pees all over her legs and the floor. And if she scoots back her feet come off the floor. Not very comfortable. Its just a mess everytime. We are buying a new one 2morrow

We took my son to pick out a potty & he loves Winnie The Pooh so we came home with this one. It was very cute & he just couldn't wait to sit on it, but when he did we saw that the slash guard for boys was basically nonexistent!! We had to pack it back up & return it for another potty. We did this while my son cried the entire time because we were taking his Pooh potty chair away. :(

My daughter is 4 1/2 now, and we've had this potty for nearly 3 years. It has held up through thick and thin, works well on its own, with the seat snapped onto the big potty, or as a step-stool. She still fits on it just fine, even at 4 1/2 (and she has always been an average sized kid), so I don't think there are any issues with size. I do wish the splash guard were removable, but we haven't really found that to be a big issue anyway. I agree it would not be a very good potty for boys, both because of a too-small splash guard and because if you use the seat on a normal toilet you don't have any splash guard at all. For a girl, though, this potty works very well.

Comments about The First Years Winnie the Pooh 3 in 1 Potty:
As a parent of 4 children, this potty chair was a huge waste. The potty guard for boys is very small & when you convert it to the actual commode there's no guard at all, therefore for small boys it's a waste. Boys still sit on the regular commode in training. It boils down to purchasing a step stool.

I just bought this potty seat about 1 hour ago. I should have looked up reviews before I went out to buy one! My son is 17 months old and used the big potty this morning for the first time. So, being excited, I went out first thing to get him a potty seat. When I came home with this one, I set it up and put him on it. He loved the flush noise it would make, but his little boy parts wouldn't even come close to fitting into the guard. It would awkwardly smash him. It can't be comfortable. I am in the process of looking for boy- friendly potty, since this one will have to go back.

I bought this potty chair for my son, it's very cute and will work great for girls. However when I sat my son on it he sat ABOVE the little cup guard in the front. I returned it for another potty chair that I also have to return for the same reason! Why is it so hard to find a GOOD boy potty chair with a high cup guard?!?!?

I bought this potty chair for my son as a birthday gift (for his first birthday...yes, I wanted to start potty training early). I picked this potty chair, b/c my son loves Winnie the Pooh. Set up was easy enough, but when I sat my son on the potty chair, we discovered that it was much too small for him. My son is about 23lbs, and 30in. tall, and rather lean. The problem we were having was that the splash guard was too short, and it was not even cup shaped, just a small flat slab (for lack of a better word) in front that smashed his "peepee" (to use child friendly words), and the actual potty seat was much too small as well. If he would have pooped it would have been on the potty seat, and not at all in the basin. This really made me upset. Most children would not be able to fit on this potty b/c the dimensions are all wrong! I was very disappointed to say the least! This potty chair is meant for very small children, and probably not boys. On top of it all, the flusher on the potty chair I bought would NOT stop flushing. As I said, BIG disappointment! We returned it immediately!

we bought this for my 2 yr old son. The cup for boys did not cover him, so that pretty much ruled out this product. Besides he didn't want to sit on it, just play with the flush button. It makes a great stool, which is what we use it for now.

Comments about The First Years Winnie the Pooh 3 in 1 Potty:
I liked this potty, and my daughter loved her Pooh Potty, but she was obviously uncomfortable and had trouble centering on the hole. She is only 22 months old and has started training herself, so we bought this for her to get used to it. She used it the first day but I have some issues with the design. The sounds are cute, but every time she got on or off her thigh would hit the handle. It is just too small for an average sized toddler bottom.

This isn't a bad potty, unless your little guy wants to potty standing up... Makes things very hard since the the "bowel" is further in and they are still working on aim and all. Over all a good potty, but if he wants to stand up, look for another one. Would probably work great for girls though! =)

We purchased this for our son and were very disappointed. The urine cup and guard is very small compared to others (our son has 6 pottys at other homes). If you put it on your toilet you will notice there is an indentation on the front and urine will pool in it- my son wants to help clean this making it Very messy. The only thing I liked about the potty is that it turns into a steping stool- thats all we use it for now, after two weeks of frustration we bought another potty.

I care for kid sat home and have 2 boys im potty training. the flushing aspect has the right idea but to me is pointless since every time the child opens their legs to see inside if they did potty their leg flushes the potty then it just becomes a toy to play with.
seing that i am potty training boys this potty is not good to take apart and put on the big potty since the guard that covers the boys is on the bowl so when you attach it to the big potty there is no guard and urine goes every where

ok price, very hard and uncomfortable, "flushing" function doesn't work properly. i got this product for my daughter b/c of the price and the winnie the pooh characters. after using the product though I came to realize she didn't like it very much at all b/c it leaves her tush red and sore and even pinched her a few times which set the whole potty training back a few months for being in fear of sitting on a potty again. personally I would save time and money and just go w/ another potty, I didn't return it after she used it b/c that would be unsanitary if someone else used it after her and kept it as a step stool. she only used the potty feature on it maybe 10 times and loved the flushing action for the 2 times it worked.(i tried to replace the batteries and nothing worked) and occasionally got tuck to her when she went to the bathroom and the contents spilled everywhere. not a fun time for anyone...lol i wouldn't recommend this product to anyone wishing to use it other than a step stool.
