I was looking into scooters to cruise around at lunch time on the trails near my work. And I didn't want to shell out over $200 for the Xootr scooter (the cadillac of kick scooters). I was surprised when I received this X-sports scooter, it has nice large wheels and folds/unfolds easily. The build quality seems strong too. But you should not do any tricks on this scooter. It should really be for fast cruising, and with the large wheels its pretty fast. Much better then most Razor's. I have never tried the Razor A5, but this one works fine so no need to go there. I think I am going to get another one for my wife so we can take them to the beach. Aside from the foot deck being somewhat small this is a great alternative to hauling a bike or walking.

aluminum body - acceptably low weight - and 205 mm wheels - 220 pounds load limit make it fit for adult / grown teenager and for 7 year old equally well . GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY.
