My 3 year old little boy loves it!!

Bought for 4yr birthday, 8 yr old and 12yr old sisters tried out a ride also. Good speed not too fast or too slow. Goes well on hills and easy to control. My son asked to ride it daily. One of the main reasons I bought this was it will grow with him since leg/knee space of a 4 wheeler is open.
10/15/2015 by dissapointedsofar
have yet to try product it was delivered with no rear axel. they are supposed to make good on before childs birthday. we will see about that.
This was for my granddaughter who is 6 1/2 years old. She absolutely loves it. Any time she is outside she wants to ride on her "four wheeler". She is doing tricks on it after only the third day. The only thing that bothers me is that the battery should last longer. Plus you have to charge it for fourteen hours EVERYTIME you use it. That is a long time for a child to wait. That means only once a day for about two hours. So that means you should get two batteries to use it everyday. But I must say she has had a ball with it and our backyard is not flat so that takes some of the battery life away because of rough terrain. I do ride my disability scooter back there so you can guess how much bad terrain is there.
My son Loves It!!
He is 4 and can maneuver it very easily.
Bought for a 6 year old boy. He loves it. Assembly was quick. Gives him plenty of room to grow. It holds up to 130 lb.
Super cute and my daughter just loves it!!!
Very cute and age appropriate it!
Works great easy to assemble description was very accurate my daughter loved it
Piece of junk.
One of the rear wheels was locked up. I had to return it. My three-year-old grandson was very disappointed on his birthday.
Mu son loves it!!!!
My son's raptor arrived 2 days sooner than expected. He absolutely loves it. Every morning he asks if he can ride it. There's only 2 things I'd change about it, the gears and the tires. The weight limit is 130 but I can't see and older child liking that it can only go 5mph, my son's 3 and he has it mastered. And the tires are plastic so if they crack we can't just change them. But all in all a great but.
Yamaha Raptor atv
I bought this for my 2 year old grandson he has had smaller ones but they were always very slow and ran down quickly, I have to say this one is great he loves it and rides like a pro.
My 4 yr old loves it.
Good product, few minor improvements needed.
This little four wheeler works awesome for our 2 year old son. The battery indicator light is an awesome feature and I like how it locks into the reverse gear unlike some others that the child has to hold in reverse while trying to drive. The turning radius is definitely large and could use to be tightened up as well as the way the handle bars connect to the steering stem could definitely use improvement. Overall we are happy with the product and our son loves riding it. We did cut up and install bike tires on the back tires for more traction in our lawn, we are under construction and have some rough terrain and tall grass he rides through.

It's an excellent product . Easier battery insertion than other jeeps I've owned. My son loves it!
We ordered a 12v quad and had problems with it so we got this one and it works great lots of power and battery life last about a day
My grandson loves it and he's 3 going on 13 he thinks we drive our car and he can follow too cute thank you awesome toy for some who follows the rules and guide lines.
Awesome. My son who is a tall 6yo loves it.
So far so good
The best build quality I have ever seen on a power wheel. I would say the only cone is the wide turning range which makes it difficult to ride in narrow places
My grandson loves his new Raptor. He is 4 years old and it only took him a couple minutes to figure out how to steer and maneuver it around. As soon as he figured that out he was off like a rocket. I didn't think we were going to get him off of it the first day. It was able to carry him and my grand daughter who is 6 at the same time and held a charge the entire time. I'm glad that I went through several of the product reviews for several motorized items and decided on this one.
A Little Boy's Dream!
My father purchased this four wheeler for my son's 5th birthday. He rides it every chance he gets. Well made and safe.
My Grandson so far loves his Raptor, but has only had it not yet a week, but so far so good, an he is only 3 yrs old, but it's perfect for him.
Good ATV - Bad Packaging
This is a great ATV for a child, but the packaging is not satisfactory for shipping. When we received the box, it was torn and the front axle was exposed. It wasn't until we were assembling it that we realized we were missing the piece we needed to put the front tire on. This created a trip to the hardware store before we could complete the assembly. Other than that we are happy with the vehicle.
Package arrived on time. No damage. All parts and pieces intact. Even included the necessary tools for assembly. Assembly DVD was a nice feature. Easy to assemble and, so far, works great. I don't normally buy extended warranties but in this case I did. Hope I don't have to use it! He was very excited! Easy to operate, even for a 3 yr old!
We opted to get a 4-wheeler for our 6 year old for her birthday instead of a car because of how tall she is...this fits her great with room to grow! It was easy for my husband to put together, and my little girl has had a blast with her 4-wheeler so far. It seems very durable, and the faster speed really is a quick speed for a kids toy
He lives it
Purchased for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. She loves it, she tells all her friends it has three gears slow, fast and reverse.
Even better then I expected
Works great for being a power wheels type of toy. I am proud of this purchase. Best deal for what you get.
Nice unit grandson loves
Fast & prompt purchase & shipping. All as expected works great
We got this for our 3 year old for his birthday and I was worried that it might be too big and to difficult for him. I was wrong. He is great at driving it. I was also worried he might fall off not the case, he stays on with no problem. He and my 7 year old ride together because of the higher weight limit unlike others that we were considering. The only thing that we had to get adjusted to is that the foot pedal is on the platform where you step on/off the quad. So the first few times my son was accidentally pushing the pedal while trying to step off. He would have fallen had we not been there, but after a few times of reminding him, he knows to get off on the other side without the foot pedal.
very good and very happy with it.
This was a birthday gift for my 3 year old grandson and he loves it!!
I got both my sons one and they love it!
Bought the purple/pink one for our daughter's second birthday, knowing she would have to be a little older before she could master it, but not the case. She loves it and rides everyday. Even better it's big enough for big sister, who is six, to ride too, or even together.
waste of money
my son loved it but it broke after only 4 months so I took it to get looked at and they said the engine was no good.
Our grandson is three and it's a perfect size for him. He will ride it for a long time since it holds up to 130 pounds. Good range of speed and loves the reverse.
Our Grandaughter's 4-wheeler
This was purchased for our 4 y/o grandaughter. Her daddy has a Polaris and she loves to ride with him. She spends lots of time on this one now!
Good price, kid loves it.
gift for grandson
Worked great our Grandson loves it
I am very pleased with my purchase of the Yamaha Raptor. It is a nice looking, sturdy ATV. My 5 yr old son loves riding it. The 2 speeds are nice, the low speed for younger children. There is a lot of room for a child to grow on this. I an 120 lbs and 5'4'' and can ride comfortably! Great buy!
This ride on is great.
Would highly recommend. Lots of power. You wont be disappointed in ths one.
Ion battery burst into flames
Search Yamaha raptor on Facebook you can see the video. Moments after my 3 year old got off because the battery was dead it was engulfed in flames and melted until all that was left was the metal handlebars and the battery. Very scary!! I hope no one ends up seriously injured because of this!
I bought this for my son's 6TH birthday; yet, he has yet to ride it due to defects and problems with it. The stickers were wrinked on the four wheeler, the screws were stripped, very poor quality, and it was missing pieces. So, if I'd only went with the reviews I would have bought something else for my child.
Super blue buggy
This is a very good looking riding toy. Great color. Easy to use. Speedy
great for a big boy
My son is young in age but big in height and weight so I needed a bigger 4 wheeler. It's very pretty and sturdy for my big boy! He loves it

My son is 4 turning 5 in February and has an older Jeep passed down from his brothers. I was looking for something a little faster that allowed him to keep up with me when walking. This is perfect and he calls it his dirt bike!
I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas. She finally was able to use it over the weekend because has been cold out. If your child has a great imagination and loves cars this is the item to buy. My daughter pretends she is Rider off of PawPatrol and ready to save the day. What is even more exciting is the max limit to ride is reasonable that even I was able to have some fun and enjoy it. My daughter thought is was fun taking turns. :) One of the best purchases ever!
We purchased this item for Christmas in December 2013, the battery that came with it would hold a charge long enough for about 10minutes of riding time. We contacted the company and they sent us a new battery, the new battery was great to start with and then it began doing the same thing. Sometimes the ride time would only last about 5 minutes before it was dying again, we thought maybe it had been overcharged? So we parked it and gave up for months. We recently decided to order a new battery online, and on the first charge it worked great, after that back to the same old 10 minutes of ride time for a 14 hour charge. We have even timed it almost to the minute to be sure the battery was charged 14 hours and not overcharged. We are just frustrated. It is very disappointing to our son, we have tried to follow all directions, Raptor is garage kept and looks brand new, so we know it has nothing to do with the weather etc. We owned another brand in the past with our older children, and never had these problems, the kids drove them constantly and batteries weren't an issue. I'm so wishing we would have purchased that brand instead. Don't waste your time and money on this one.
Happy with it.
Seems to be working and performing just fine.
Girls like them too!!
Bought the same ATV for our Grandaughter's birthday that our Grandson got from Santa after shopping around for a "girl" quad. This model had the best reviews compared to any others we looked at....The only downside was that although the quad is produced in purple for girls they were nowhere to be found so we went with the blue and tied pink ribbon to the bars to tell the quads apart... She was beyond thrilled.....
We bought this for our 3 year old son for Christmas. It works well and he drives it for a few hours a day riding on paved and unpacked terrain. Love this product!
So far so good. Great fun for kids!

My 3 1/2 year old son received the raptor 4 wheeler as a Christmas gift this year. It's been pretty cold so we haven't had a lot of opportunities to use it much yet. So I'm only commenting on the machine for about a month of having it. So far so good. Assembly was fairly simple took my husband about a half hour or so to get it assembled on Christmas Eve night. FYI... the battery needs to charge at least 13 hours prior to first to use. Quality seems decent..an entire plastic frame and wheels. My only complaint at this point is how to access the battery...it is located under the seat and has to be screwed on and off in order to take it in and out. That is a poor design due to the inconvenience. The raptor has 2 speeds and a reverse setting. Goes about 6 miles per hour at its maximum. My 2 sons can ride together weighing approximately 75 to 80 pounds together, of course naturally it slows down a bit more with more weight but the seat is large enough for 2. My son absolutely loves it.
Awesome gift for my son
Perfect. Walmart Saved the Day
I ordered a different power wheels from another store and it didn't arrive in time for Christmas. I was able to order this from Walmart.com and pick it up in store that day. My three year old is having a blast with this quad. It's fast enough for him and goes well on grass and pavement. It also looks like a real quad. I'm very happy with this purchase!
My 2-1/2 year old grandson loved this. He did need quite a bit of adult help, but we expected that, and with a 130 pound weight limit, there is lots of time for him to grow and love it even more. It took my son about 30 minutes to put together. Not too bad. I recommend this highly.
My son luv this rideon cant stay on it great for a two year old
1/4/2015 by An anonymous customer
Bought this for our 3 year old son. He had been asking for a four wheeler for a long time and my husband came across the reviews for the Yamaha. We really like it and serves the purpose we bought it for. Our son rides around the backyard. My only complaint is that the battery runs out quickly. Other than that we are very happy with it.
This 12 volt battery operated powered ride on is excellent for my 5 year. He even has room to grow with it. It has enough power to go up hills, grass, and mud. I wish the battery have him more play time. 2 hours may be the most he gets to enjoy it. It takes 14 hours to charge up the battery.
happy happy little boy
my three year old grandson loves his raptor.took five minutes to learn how to ride it and now is a pro.i started to purchase a bike.glad i purchased this toy.will get bike next year for his fifth birthday.
Great for the money
This is the second one I have purchased and both are working great and the kids love them.
3 year old is obsessed
This was the perfect purchase for my three year old for Christmas. He's completely obsessed with it and asks to ride it all the time. This thing will surely get a lot of miles
Bought this for my 3 1/2 year old who loves it. It was easy to put together and it's a pretty good size for a child. It was easy for him to learn how to operate as well. It is a little fast when put on that setting but the option is there for a lower speed. It was worth the money and besides if we'll taken care of its not something he would outgrow after six months.
5 year old loves it
My 5 year old loves it as it rides on the grass and climbs hills no problem. Very easy to put together no tools required as it comes with everything you need. No stickers needing to be put on either which was nice.
Grand Kids ages 3 to 7 LOVE IT !!
Very easy to put together once I figured out which wheels were front and rear, they were not labeled and the directions did not indicate. Grand kids enjoy, great buy !
awesome little atv
Great atv, purchased for my son for christmas , he loves it. Easy to assemble, battery lasts a pretty good while, decent traction. A friend of mine bought his son the kfx power wheels and the traction kit for it and that bike still has problems with wheel spin on damp grass and slight inclines, my sons raptor hasn't missed a lick!
We purchased this for our 2 1/2 year old for Christmas and have been happy with it, but haven't had it long enough to say whether it will hold up. He has a Kawasaki 12 volt power wheel that he has been riding since he was 2 and it makes sharper turns. This Yamaha has a larger frame, but he can still reach the pedal and will have growing room.
We got it for our 5 year old and he loves it! He is kinda rough on toys and it is very durable! Perfect gift!
Our 4 year old grandson loves it
SAFE FOR ANY 7 YEAR OLD
I DID NOT KNOW IF IT WOULD BE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR MY 7 YEAR OLD GRANDSON, BUT IT WAS, AND IT WAS FAST ENOUGH TO KEEP HIM HAPPY AND SAFE.
My four year-old loves it!
12/29/2014 by RoblesFamBam4
Great size/speed for my four year-old. My 10 year-old has a big boy quad so this one fit right in to allow my lil one to feel as though he was part of the racing experience.
this quad rocks!
12/29/2014 by hshsbsbdjci
I purchased this for my 3 year old for christmas. Im super satisfied with it! It goes pretty fast but can adjust to a lower or faster speed also has a reverse. The only thing thats missing is some headlights for night time. Also my husband weighs 187 and is also able to ride it at a nice speed. Not suggesting that he should all the time but if your child decides they are tired of riding you wont be left trying to carry back hom :-)
12/28/2014 by HappyGirlll
Great toy. Drives in wet grass. I bought the girl version and wish it was more colorfu, but satisfied overall.
Perfect for my 3 yr old
Perfect little 4 wheeler for my 3 year old! He absolutely loves it!
Great Yamaha ride-on
12/28/2014 by Scrubpantspgh
This battery powered Yamaha is fantastic. Walmart has the best prices. The Yamaha is sturdy, reliable and I feel totally safe with my 4-yr daughter riding it. We got it in purple. It's easy for a kid to control and ride. We tested it through trails, mud, up hills, down hills, grass, gravel, etc. It worked and ran great on all surfaces. It holds a charge for hours. Love this product and would highly recommend it.
Took about an hour to put it together. The battery didn't want to charge but we eventually discovered the fuse was loose and needed to be pushed in a bit. My 3 year old grandson instantly understood the different speeds and reverse drive. He is legally blind but has been able to handle it well on semi level ground so far.
I bought this for my Grandson for Christmas and he loves this, he got the hang of riding it the next day.
Perfect for kids
This was a gift from the grandparents for Christmas. It is the perfect speed and our 3 year old loves riding it. One thing we love about it is that it has a place that shows you how strong the battery. This is a great ride on for kids!
Just not the same
12/26/2014 by Joyouellette
We really like this product but we bought the same one about 5 years ago and this one is considerably smaller. I was disappointed with the size and it does not seem to be as tough either. We will see after a few months of use.
Four wheeling like a pro
My 5 year old loves this toy. Kept charged for over 4 hours of continuous play before needing a recharge. Great toy, lots of fun.
12/25/2014 by Purpleriders
Girls are 3 and 5 got the purple ones for them . It was the biggest hit on their Christmas . Thank you Walmart
good and bad
The best thing about this item is that it goes EVERYWHERE!!! it runs great and is really a great first 4 wheeler for my 3 1/2 year old grandson. It did have to be put together and that wasn't a probelm, but the front wheel fell off after about the first 15 minutes. I guess i didn't tighten it enough but it made me think...what if i can't find the nut?? How do i replace it?? So the first thing I am going to do is get more "nuts"... I did find it and all is well. the WORST thing is the battery life....it says 1-3 hours but i never paid attention. My grandson got maybe 1 1/2 hours. When a kid loves a toy, 1 1/2 hours is NOT enough especially when you are supposed to charge it for 14 hours. So basically you say, ok you have this amount of time and then you're out of luck. Seriously, i don't know if i would have purchased it if i would have actually realized the short riding time available.
Its great on grass and some mud(havent tried alot) it works on gravel to, the steering is great easy for little arms to turn
12/11/2014 by prouddaddy14
Very cool realalistic looking ATV! Good starter ride for your boy/girl to ride and have fun on! Has suspension in the rear three real ATV raptor sounds goes up to 5 mph in high gear mid gear goes a safe 2.5 mph reverse 2.5 mph has adjustable handle bars to grow with child! My daughter loves this ride goes good on any terrain
He's going to love it for Xmas... I love the Cd that svows you how to put it together. ..very easy! !
my son turned 4 on fri, 28th, nov, give it to him then, he,s been on it every day since then, 4 days in a row for 30 to 45 mins a day, still has about half of a charged battery, i keep chking it but , wow i,m really surprised how long the battery is holding up, i keep it in the house in the heat, the 4 wheeler, that is, maybe that helps the battery, not sure, but he ,s rough on the raptor, it takes all the abuse he,s dishing out. really sturdy, great buy, your kids will enjoy it. have fun.
Cool but doesn't turn well.
We gave this to our almost three grandson yesterday. So far we like it but don't think it has a way to turn it off. That would help for when little sister touches it, etc. The main thing we don't like about it is it barely turns. I am 115 pounds and got on it. I couldn't turn around because it only slightly turns. That stinks!
Gift for 4 year old Grandson
This is our second raptor we have purchased as gifts for our grandsons.....It is a great ride on for kids. Our first one was purchased 6 years ago for Grandson #1 and after outgrowing it, we sold it, not expecting another grandson on the way. We gave this one for our second grandson 4th birthday! He was thrilled and this one will not be sold as he has a baby sister now and will save for her!! Also, grandson #3 will be getting one for a Christmas gift soon! Yes, I would recommend to everyone....
Was easy to put together and grandson loves it
11/11/2014 by oxfordreb52
I ordered it and had it drop-shipped to my daughter's house. Unfortunately, it was left at the garage door and my grandson saw it and wanted it right then. Lucky for me my daughter said he had to wait until I came back in town. When I got there last weekend, he was so excited to put it together. I have a great picture of him on it. That was for his birthday and is an early present for him.
Great 4th Birthday Gift!
10/21/2014 by tja7804 from Central Wisconsin
Bought this for my 4 year old son after he had rode his cousins months before. So far so good! The battery seems to stay charged quite a long time. And it travels off road quite nicely! Very happy with my purchase!
10/11/2014 by Dixieboy11 from Brooklyn
I bought this yahama raptor ATF for my four year old son birthday he loves it its was easy to assemble in fact my wife put it together before I got home from work because my son could not wait .its great gift an well priced only one thing I think was not perfect was the turning radius u have to have a lot of space for the steering control to make a 360 degrees turn else u will have to go forward and reverse while riding that's the only reason I gave it 4 an not 5 but other than that great buy for money kids go crazy for it even my son play dates
I bought this for my two year old and he loves it! He still has troubles with the shifting to go backwards but other than that it is wonderful! At first it was just circles now he steers and is all over the yard! I would by this again and again
My five year old loves it
Boys love it. Good Battery life. Lots of power.
9/11/2014 by RedF150 from Newark, NY
Bought this for our two grandsons age 3 and 5. They already had an older one like it. We wanted them to each have one. They love riding them.
9/8/2014 by MommasLovies from South Carolina
My son's had this for almost three years and it still runs great with original battery. This is the best power ride on that we've owned. It can go uphill, through grass, dirt and concrete. It seems to be a lot faster than most power wheels. I purchased this around Thanksgiving for $189. It's definitely worth the money.
great for adults
I removed the little motor and put a kawasaki ninja 900 motor in it yeah that should do it.
9/7/2014 by Mhgfkutftkukggvjgkfkufkgj
Works great battery life great don't expect to climb big hills grass sucks down the battery asphalt and dirt works fine we beat this thing and it won't quit battery lasts about 3hours continuous we're very happy
Great for toddlers/preschoolers
9/2/2014 by rlf6504 from Virginia
I've had this product for 9 months now. At first it was too big for my 2 year old but it only took about 2 months for him to figure out how to ride it anyway (by practically standing up). He loves the 4 wheeler. Rides it almost everyday. We haven't had any problems with it. It gets around well on the grass, not so well on pavement because it slips. Seems like a great product.
After tree returns we finally got the right birthday gift that was ordered July 15, 2014.
Besides missing some hardware lost in shipping, a great product.
Little guy loves it.
Great battery life. We have had it over a week now and just had to recharge it last night. It did not take my husband long at all to put it all together. Much easier than I expected.
Terrible battery issues.
8/17/2014 by Onedayyoullgetit
Battery held good charge for a couple of weeks, only to weaken till only 10 minutes of use since. Bought a new battery only to find that the manufacturers had soldered the terminals so you cannot change it without tearing it up. Now it is completely non opearational. I guess they want us to buy a new 4 wheeler every couple of months? Before you assemble make sure the battery is something you can handle because you definitely will have a fretful time. Unless you have the money to throw away on another money hog product.
EASY to assemble, it took longer to open the bx then to put it together. Our Granddaughter loves it. WalMart shipped it FAST!
3 year old loves it
This was a gift for my daughter's 4th birthday and she is in love with it. She learned how to operate it very quickly and I like that she isn't confined to pavement- she can "go off road" into the grass or over gravel without any problems. It was easy to put together, but the charge takes a LONG time. There is an initial 12 hour charge period, and after riding for about an hour or two, it must charge again for 10-12 hours. It works out ok for us because of the heat and mosquitos, it's not a great idea to be outside for too long anyway, but it would be nice to have a longer battery life. I read reviews about a lot of parts having to be replaced, but we've had this for about 5 days and at least for now everything works fine. It's very easy to steer, has a decent turning radius, and seems quite stable. Very wide and heavy. Overall, happy with this purchase, I just hope that it lasts a while.
Birthday present for our daughter (white pink and purple colors) she loves it!
Wish the battery lasted longer
7/27/2014 by Mortisha0726 from Virginia Beach, VA
The first time my kids used it the battery lasted about 6 hours on a single charge. The next day it only lasted 3 hours.
My Granddaughter loves it.

Bought for my 5 yr old Granddaughter. She loves it.
Quicker than I thought and a great product!!!
Quick, easy and painless. Got it faster than the delivery date. My son love's it so much. Lots of power. 130 lb. limit is great. Battery lasts a long time. Also, it was easy to put together. Thank you!!! K

I love it and my daughter love it too she just turn eight and she fits perfectly! Power ,looks and battery efficiency!
Great Looking Ride On
It shipped on time and arrived on time. There were no damaged parts and the quad looked great! My daughter and friends loved driving it. It really looks sharp and so far performs well. All the people around town like the look!
raptor 4 wheeler
Bought this for my 4 year old grandson, he loves it. Only downside is you only get about 3 hrs. Run time, trying to find a extra battery
my daughter loves it
A sad experience
7/16/2014 by Disneyfan0011
We bought this for my 2 year old son. He LOVES 4 wheelers! He was one happy baby! Unfortunately after one day of riding a gear box went out so we called the warranty department and they sent a new one (4 weeks later) we replaced the gear box and one more day of riding then the other gear box went out! So we called the warranty department and they sent a new one this time a little faster (2 weeks later) and we replaced the gear box. With one very happy child we get ready to ride and the 4 wheeler will only go in reverse! We have owned this stupid thing for nine months and he has maybe gotten 16 hours of ride time! We are going to get the John Deere Tractor now hopefully with better luck!
I bought this product for my 4 year old son. I put it together, charged it for 14 hours and got about a 20 minute run time. I called the company, they said the charger was probably bad and sent me a new one. I charged it with the new charger, still got a 20 minute run time. I called again, they said my battery was probably bad and to take it to a local car parts store to have it tested. Turned out the battery was bad so I called them and they sent me a new battery. I got it, charged it for 14 hours still just a 20 minute run time. I called AGAIN and they had me do a test which involved taking apart the pedal and touching wires together. The result I gave them from that told them that there was a short in the connection from the pedal to the battery not allowing the battery to fully charge. They sent me a new pedal with wiring in the mail. I then replaced that and charged again for 14 hrs. STILL A 20 MINUTE RUN TIME. Called them again and conducted the same test with the pedal and wiring again and the results of this one told them that there was a short in the wiring from the pedal to the motor. They mailed me 2 new motors and a new gear shift and assured me that now that we had replaced all the parts in the product it would definitely work now. I had my doubts obviously. It was supposed to be new when I got it and nothing worked why now would that make me feel better. So I got the parts, followed the link they emailed me to a YouTube video that would show me how to install it all. I finally finished that and it wouldn't run at all!!!!! I called one last time and got a very nice woman that I had never spoken to before. She told me to just take it back to Walmart. I informed her I didn't think that was possible since it said all over the product not to return it to the store. Had I thought I could do that I would have a long time ago. She said it would be fine because they have a 90 day return policy. I'm getting ready to do that now. We will see how that goes...... I will say that the manufacturer was always nice and timely in shipping out all the replacement parts but it's been 2 months and I have a very upset 4 year old who has yet to get to really ride this toy. Do Not Buy This. The one we had previous to this was a Fisher Price Hot Wheels. It worked really well, my son just outgrew it. I will recommend buying Fisher Price. They have replacement chargers and batteries in stores that you can go buy instead of waiting for parts to come in the mail. Also there are places that will fix them for a very fair price if something should happen to them. I never had any problems with my Fisher Price product. Wish I could say the same about Yamaha.
Best bang for the buck
I bought this for older children to use until my son is old enough to start using it. It is big enough for 7-8 year old to ride and is able to go up the modest hills and bumpy tree roots in the yard. Battery life is decent and keeps them entertained for the hour it lasts. One of the biggest reasons for picking this one is for its weight limit of 130 which is twice the amount for some of the other atvs.
My son's love this
7/2/2014 by Kibbles from Albany,NY
We bought this for my four year old for his birthday. He loves it, so do his older brothers who are 5 and 9. The battery lasted a couple of hours the first time they used it. I can see this getting a lot of use for the next couple of years. It was easy to put together and seems to be well built. We went with this particular one because of others reviews and the weight limit.

Great ride on toy for my boy. Some assembly was required but for the most part it came almost completely assembled. Battery holds a good charge; recharge the battery every couple of days. My boy is 6 years old and he fits on the ATV with ease. He is able to operate the ATV easily; the turning radius is lacking but does that really matter to a 6 year old? I was hesitant when I selected this one over the other more expensive Ride-ons because you know how it goes, you get what you paid for. I was very pleased with this purchase and this toy is an exceptional value and it exceeded all expectations!
Awesome ride-on for the price!!!!
6/28/2014 by tommysmommy7
I purchased this for my son for his 8th birthday. He had a Power Wheels Jeep previously (which was a lot more expensive) that he outgrew and he's only 55lbs. Therefore I needed to find one that was big enough for him. I saw this one and thought it looked great as far as him being able to use it for a while before getting too big for it. A lot of the other ride-on vehicles the child is crammed into a seat, I like that this one makes it so the child has room to grow. In my sons previous ride-on his knees were up to his chin because of being confined to the little seat. I noticed the price and was even happier. After reading the reviews I was completely sold. My son got this on his birthday and loves it! His two step-brothers (11 & 6 years old) also love it! Yes, even an 11 year old can ride-on this! The weight limit is 130 lbs!!! I like that it can be driven on grass and still goes a good speed. Many years of use out of this makes it a great deal for your money.
Great to share
6/21/2014 by Happykidstoday
My three oldest children between ages two to six are having a blast. The four wheeler's size always one or two at a time to ride along with each other while keeping up great speed. Worth every penny.....
bought one for each of my 2 girls (3 and 5 year old) they love it.
Good first ATV
This ATV holds a charge well and is stable. It was easy to assemble and my grandchildren are having a blast with it.
My 3 year old LOVES it
We recently gave our daughter this ATV Yamaha Raptor ride on (in the white/purple/pink) for her birthday. She loves it! We are not disappointed in the quality at all. We spent a lot of time researching various cars/trucks/other ride-ons because she kept saying she wanted a "pink car". We are glad that we went the ATV avenue because it is easier to steer than a car and it will take longer for her to grow out of since you don't have to slide into a seat. My husband talked with a co-worker who said that he has ride-ons for his kids and they have gotten the most use out of the ATV. That sealed the deal. It rides great on grass, tar, and other surfaces. There are two speeds low and high plus reverse. Just wish you could lock it in low speed so at 3 years old they aren't going high speed. I make sure she is wearing her helmet while driving.
Perfect price and bike
6/14/2014 by PrincessArms
We brought this for a 7yr old girl and she loves it !! It goes just the right speed for us to walk briskly behind her.
6/10/2014 by Diplomat0583
Bought this for my 3 year old son and he just loves it
My son loves it!
My 2 year old loves this 4-wheeler. He rides it all over the yard. It has no problem going up small hills and holds a charge longer than I had expected. This is a great toy for beginners. It has the slower speed to get used to riding and then can switch to high gear for even more fun.
Perfect for older Children
6/7/2014 by pearly5908 from Clinton, Maryland
This is great for the child that has grown out of those other smaller ride on battery operatored vehicles. My six year old granddaughter love this item.
6/3/2014 by shortstuff245 from North Dakota
Bought this for my 5-year old grandson and he absolutely loves it. The battery life is unbelievable, was way longer than I ever expected. Easy to assemble. Only one thing I would change about it would be to put rubber tires on instead of the plastic, but overall a really good buy. Easy to operate as well.
this is a very beautiful bike for my 3 years old.
I got this bike for my little boy and he loves it right away. It is a beautiful toy and rugged as well. The downsides are the time it takes to align the steering wheel, the need to charge the battery every day and the steering wheel that keeps turning sideways no matter how much you tighten it up.
Great power wheeler.
I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old and she loves it. She would ride it 24 hrs if the battery stayed charged for that long. Great buy for the price.
Fun little 4-Wheeler
5/30/2014 by wentzvillefamily
Purchased because of styling, overall weight capacity, and 12 volt system. Performed well, but battery only lasts about 1.5 hours on high speed before needing to be recharged. Recharging takes 14 hours (per manufacturer) and indeed it was about 13-14 hours to resurrect from nearly dead state. All in all,, a great toy... a touch expensive, but fun.
5/28/2014 by NoNickname123457
Other than assembly we have had no problems. Runs good. My 2 yr old LOVES his own four wheeler. Rides it all over everyday. Even switches gears himself. Very child friendly. Great buy
Burned out motor twice in two months
I bought this for my sons birthday in March. I have had to call customer service twice about a burned out motor. Luckily its covered but i am not looking forward to take the whole thing apart again to replace the motor. It does not seem well made considering I have had it break twice in two months.
Our 6 year old daughter LOVES it!
5/26/2014 by WalterNKelly from Mastic Beach, NY
I have done alot of research on these ride on toys. I read all the customer reviews, which I rely HEAVILY on so I am inclined to review this item as to help future shoppers like myself. Ok so it was a toss up between this one and the preg prego (i think that's the name) which was very close in price. One of the biggest selling points for us was the weight max on this one. Its 130 lbs! I actually rode this and went up a semi-steep hill and its pulled my 128 lb butt right up the hill. Our daughter just turned 6 and she is a big girl. She has always been big therefore the others that max out at 65 lbs wasn't going to work. She is about 60 lbs now. What I like about this item is this: 1)-the weight max 130 lbs! 2)-it was SO EASY TO ASSEMBLE! 3)-it will be able to used by our daughter for at least 2 more years (minimum) until we can get her a full sized gas one! 4)-this Quad goes over gravel, hills, grass and has pretty good traction for a 12 volt kids toy. I like that it has 2 speeds and reverse. It was about $230 with tax and it was delivered earlier than expected! Shipping was free. It has a pedal on the right side (foot) and the shift is in the middle. Our daughter knows how to work it and just loves the fact that she can go up on the lawn to the street and up small hills. She loves the independence it gives her and I can walk the dogs and she can drive along with us. I do wish it went a bit faster but as far as all the 12 volt ride on's go this is standard. There is 1 I saw that goes 3 & 6 mph. This one goes 2.5 mph & 5 mph. I don't think the .5 mph is going to be that noticeable. Anyway, she just LOVES her present and I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone in the market for one of these. I also like the fact that she can ride alone or have a friend ride on behind her. The other ones were side by side (seating) but this is more rough and tough like-more-sporty. Its purple and white. This will keep her happy until she is old enough for a "real" one. The battery was charged for the min 14 hours. actually we charged it for like 22 hours! it held up for about 2 1/2 -3 hours of riding. So far she has only ridden it around the house and neighborhood. But looking forward to taking it somewhere she can really go up and down and on bumpy rides. This Quad CAN HANDLE WHAT SHE DISHES OUT! We live in Suffolk County LI, NY.The south shore is pretty flat but I know of a few spots where she can ride it for a bumpy hilly ride! I wish we had gotten it for her when she was younger so she could have enjoyed it for longer! Great for 4 yrs and up! Very Happy Purchase!
Great for all ages!
We bought this for our 3 year old and he loves it! After a few driving lessons, he can steer well, shift to different gears and rides all the time! Our seven year old loves it as well. Size fits both ages and it's sturdy. They can both ride together and it drives great in the yard and the street.
Easy to put together. It fits my grandson good and he is 6. He loves it!
Needs Better Battery
We bought this four wheeler for our 3 year old boy. We love it, and he does too. HOWEVER, The battery only lasts about 2 hours and that's it. If you buy this, be prepared to spend about $75 on an additional battery.
Granddaughter loves it
Once we got all of the parts (rear axle and bolts missing in box when delviered), this has turned out to be a great buy. Granddaughter loves it and has lots of fun.
5 years old loves it
5/14/2014 by mommyfromohio
Easy to assemble. Battery seems to be lasting a long time! Buy the warranty...worth the $36 dollars to ensure it lasts 3 years. Our last quad (which was cheaper and smaller) only lasted 1 1/2 years. Because we bought the Walmart warranty which was for 2 years, they refunded the cost of the quad and we put the money toward this one. So of course we paid for the 3 year warranty of this one. 3 years is a long time for basically a toy!
Daughter Absolutely Loves It!
5/12/2014 by KR91381 from Northern Michigan
I bought this for my almost 3 year old daughter and she just loves it! Follow the instructions for keeping the battery powered and we have been impressed with how long it lasts and the terrain the unit can get through, so far it has done good on all paths like a real 4-wheeler I can't believe it is battery powered! Only suggestion or at least for the younger riders like my 2 year old is that we always make her wear a helmet because it is pretty peppy but tons of fun and a great learning toy. She has learned to steer and maneuver this device much better than the power wheels jeep she has.
Works as expected.
5/5/2014 by DigitalPhotoDude from IL
Large enough to let Big Sis teach younger brother to drive by letting her ride on with him. After a week he is full able to steer and accelerate to go "FASTER" with the higher speed. No negative on Raptor but as always adult supervision is a must kids play and are not aware of potential danger. Sis almost ran over bro when he fell in front of her. Needs adult supervision but both kids love it. Wish battery lasted longer - but comparable with estimates for other similar toys
I bought this for my granddaughter for her 3rd birthday and she loves it !! she handles it very well.
Grandson loved it!
5/1/2014 by Bellalynn30 from Chapmansboro, TN
I purchased this for my grandson's 4th birthday. He loves it! I love the weight limit and so do the lighter weight women in the family lol he will be able to ride this for years. Very safe as he is all boy but has not flipped it yet. Instructions could use a little more detail on wheel assembly (you will need gray plastic pieces(included) on back tires and the back/front tires are different. That fact is not mentioned in instructions. Other than that, we are very happy with this 4wheeler, and worth the extra $20-30 for double weight limit.
Fun for kids!
4/27/2014 by JKPEA from Iowa
We bought this for my son for his 2nd birthday. He loves this toy and so do his older sisters. The stickers were peeling off and we were missing a coupling that controls the tire for 1st gear and reverse. We called the number and they mailed out new decals and a coupling...haven't received them yet but hopefully they will come in soon. Can't wait to get it working properly! Super cute and the weight limit is high. We will get use out of this for a while!
good size for my 2 year old
I had looked at this online for 198 and the following week or so had gone back to purchase online and the atv was now 219 .
Very happy with this product -
We got this for our grandson for his 2nd birthday. Wasn't sure if it would be too big for him but within 10 minutes, he was driving it all over and even learned how to put it in reverse.
LOVE THIS 4WHEELER
I bought this for my 2 year old son and he loves it. He has taking it through the mud, up and down hills. I love how long the battery lasts. I dont know exactly how long, but he can ride it all day on and off. The only reason I got this one was because of the reviews. I would recommend this for anyone. This lil 4wheeler has been awesome.
Great product, bad packaging.
4/15/2014 by Ladybug3bear3
My son loves the 4 wheeler. The only concern I had was with the packaging. The box arrived and the washers and nuts were lose in the box. We actually had to go buy washers and one nut because they had been lost through packaging/ shipping.

My son loves it
3/29/2014 by herocksmyworld from Houston Texas
Bought this for my two year old because he can grow into it and it goes two speeds. Very easy to put together. Battery life is great for a atv that size. Easy access to the battery and the seat is big enough for two kids. He can drive thru grass to concrete to dirt and it never slows down or gets stuck. Best thing i have ever bought him.
Best product ever
3/26/2014 by PROUDMOMMYNWIFEY from Mcgehee,AR
This is the best AtV ever i bought thia for 2 my year old for an early birthday present, And she loves it,,the first words that came from her mouth was WOW, It's Cute. It took me awhile because i started putting it together by myself, but my husband finally woke up, And he got it done himself, I had the battery charging while putting it together, I did have one thing that slowed us down we were missing a part(Nut) the part that keep the wheel on, But i didn't have any trouble i called the company in they told me they would be sending me another one, which came in today, but i went to my Local Lumber company and purchased a (NUT) for .50 which fit perfectly, I ordered this Power wheel on March 10,14 it came in On the 17th,,Very fast shipping, The speed is very fast so i made sure to put on Low for my daughter, but if you have an older child they would probably love it, the weight limit is very good, i rode it myself, And with my daughter, And i weigh 170p, the battery life is also good. i will be purchasing another for my youngest daughter when she turn 2, this is definitely worth the price.
Inspect the quad.
3/24/2014 by Decent2 from Pa
The first one we received was broken and missing parts. Box was not damaged. Had a little confusion on where to return it. Papers say do not return this to a store. When you call the 800 number they say to take it back to the store. But now we have one that is in good working order. My local store had one on stock. Still had to drive 30 miles and my time but my little guy is very happy.
3/22/2014 by NativeMom79 from South Carolina
The overall product is wonderful! My daughter loved it, even though it arrived after her birthday since there obviously was a problem with Wal-Mart's shipping. The ease of assembly is astonishing, the durability, great. Highly recommended!
3/18/2014 by BabyTNana from Charlotte, NC
Very nice gift for my 4yr old grandson. The only thing was it was missing a screw that we ended up purchasing from lowes
love this product

Great atv for little ones
2/25/2014 by DJK2014 from Silsbee TX
I bought this Yamaha Raptor ATV 12 volt battery powered ride on for my son who just turned three. He loves it and it goes up hills in the woods better than I would have thought. Great product. I also love that it has a battery indication level to let ya know when the battery is fully charged and running out of juice. My son rides this for about three hours straight before it starts going dead as well.
Bought for my 3yr old
It was a lot bigger than it looks. Originally bought for my 3yr old, but our 4yr old has stolen it. It's really too big to the 3yr old. Battery life is OK, but drains quickly if you are off the pavement.
2/13/2014 by PeruvianPrincess999 from Florida
This product is for ages 3+ But we bought it for Our 2 year old daughter and she looooves it, she can Reach the accelerator and it has two speeds 4mph and 8 mph... For now the 4mph is just perfect for her.
2/5/2014 by Hyatt1624 from Boiling Springs, SC
great gift to give. It isn't to fast so I don't have to worry about my child getting hurt.
2/3/2014 by VZLAMOM1979 from Saint Louis Missouri
I bought this Raptor for my 3yr old son birthday...he totally loved it. My husband assembled it in less than one hour the reason iam not giving 5 star is because a small piece ( nuts and washers ) was missing so my husband had to go to the hardware store to buy it. The battery last aprox 2 hours continuously riding this toy. I think this Raptor is great to for the price.
2/2/2014 by hatemi from bay city, Mi
Bought it for my 5yr old grandson who weighs 46 pounds, he told me it was the best bike ever, he loves it and will last him a long time, he lives in Florida so he gets lots of use out of it. The only problem is his Dad doesn't like it because it goes too fast for him to keep up with him. ha ha
Great 1st 4-wheeler for Grandson
1/28/2014 by OxtheRipper from Corinth, MS
Bought for three year old grandson. He loves the sounds it makes and that it has "gears".
Good value, lots of fun
1/25/2014 by chfirefighter from East Texas
My daughter loves this four wheeler. It was easy to assemble and arrived quickly. My few complaints are the handle bars will not stay straight, but she runs into lots of roots that may be the reason. The seat has a screw that has to be removed every time that you remove the battery and the battery connection is a little hard to connect and disconnect. But with those small things aside it is a really durable four wheeler with real raptor sounds. My son has the kawasaki by powerwheels and the raptor can go more places and go faster. I wish we would have gotten him the raptor, but he "had" to have a green one and this one is only offered in white and blue.
A great bike!
My 5 years old love it!
Makes the kid happy :)
1/15/2014 by VancDad from Vancouver, WA
Not too much to say other than it was a good buy for the price. The only real negative that I can mention is the box got pretty roughed up during shipping. No damage to the quad though.
Best ATV on the market for long term use!
1/10/2014 by PoincianaMommy from Poinciana, Florida
The max weight capacity alone should be enough to make you buy this one! It is MORE THAN double that of other popular brands. It rides effortlessly on any terrain! The high and low gear option is great for speed and control. Stop wasting your time comparing other ATV's, trust me I did it for you! Just buy it! I brought 2, and my kids have the fastest, longest battery life and most realistic 4 wheelers in our subdivision!
Very good product

Very good for my 4 yr old grand daughter
1/4/2014 by esmhal from Forrest City, AR
When we received the 4 wheeler it was easy to put together, my 4 year old grand daughter learned the first time we showed her how to put it in forward and reverse, we made a excellent choice in choosing this item. The only down fall which is really not bad is that the battery runs down faster when she goes up hill alot but other than that we and she loves her 4 wheeler.

I purchased this item for my granddaughter. She loves it.

Good value !
1/2/2014 by DonDW from DuBois, Pa.
I was happy with how well the Raptor went together. Directions were easy to understand. All the parts were there. They provide the tools to put it together. Our 4 yr old granddaughter can't wait to ride it! The one area of concern is the gear shift. I would to see it more stout.
I was worried it would be too big
1/2/2014 by memphys10 from bartlett, tn
I have a very small 3yr old & I wasn't sure he'd be able to handle this "big" ride. I was stuck between this one & the "Yamaha lil quad"- this was definitely the right choice! Not too big at all. Fairly easy to assemble, seems durable (I am a bit worried about the hard plastic tires - think "big wheel"), sporty looking and you get a good hour or so of ride time. The 2 speed thing is genius! Be careful removing parts from box, nuts are already attached to cross bar thing and can fall off. Make sure you have batteries for the sound effects box. Charge for the full 14 hrs initially and always for max ride time. Enjoy
Greatest Smiles on Faces Ever
1/1/2014 by dmnewsome from Clinton, OK
I purchased two of these for my grandsons for Christmas, one is 8 the other 6. Watching these boys ride and have fun on these was the greatest Christmas present a grandparent could ask for. Their cousin was over - and the cousin has a real 4 wheeler; she was riding on it with the boys, and when her mom came by, she asked her if she thought is was better than her real one, and she said "YES"; that should say it all. I know the boys will love these for a long time. The hardest part for them, was waiting for the battery to charge up to ride.
Great for my 2 1/2 year old
1/1/2014 by minimurph09 from Lewistown, Pa
Got this for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it, she cant quite steer it yet due to her small size but we will def get out money worth with it... maybe 3 or 4 years since she is little. Was easy to put together. Cant wait for it to warm up out so we can have her out to ride on it more.
Great product for the age group 3 - 7 years old.
12/30/2013 by MntnGuy from Colorado Springs, CO
The Raptor arrived undamaged, with all parts, was straight-forward to do the minor assembly that was required and the grand-daughters love it. The 2.5mph speed is a good idea while they get the hang of driving it and 5mph will be fast enough until they get older. Good quality frame. Plastic body is sturdy plastic and should hold up. Overall very pleased with the Yamaha Raptor.
Best “ride-on” purchase ever!
12/30/2013 by barksli from Texas
Best “ride-on” purchase ever! My daughter is 6 and weighs about 50 pounds. She really wanted a Barbie jeep but after checking them out we figured if she hit another growth spurt we would be wasting our money. We got this for her for Christmas and she LOVES it! She has drove it on gravel, grass and dirt… it never slowed down. I would highly recommend this 4-wheeler! Great product at an affordable price!

Good replica of real four wheeler
12/23/2013 by SARogers from Texas
Bought as Christmas gift for our son. Was missing the nuts and washers for the rear axle, a required component for riding. Called Motion Trendz during the day on a Saturday to request the replacement parts to only be told they were closed for system maintenance. So then called back on Monday morning to be put on hold with a message saying their hours are 8-5 and will not take calls after 5:00 p.m. even if you are on hold - what customer service. Got through to a service representative and was explaining the issue of the missing parts and asked if the parts could be overnighted since it was two days before Christmas. Before I could even finishing the statement, the representative cut me off in the middle of my sentence and sternly said she suggested for us to go to the local hardware store to purchase the missing parts!! What happened to customer service with customer satisfaction??? May be the last time we purchase a Motion Trendz product if they can not take care of a simple request!

The product was good, but the transaction was poor
12/11/2013 by JRomeo68 from Clarksville, TN
Im only disapointed that I didnt get my walmart associate discount even though I submitted it before I made the purchase. Once the payment was made with my credit card, I noticed the whole $216.81 was taken from my card. And apparently it was(and is) to late to correct that mistake. Therefore from now on I will continue to do my shopping in store instead of Walmart.com

I bought the white/pink/purple one. It arrived at my local walmart severely damaged. I did get a refund however now it is no longer offered for purchase online. It was a Christmas present for my kiddo. Super disappointed. Walmart was no help in getting me another one because it was bought online.

A little early to tell.

I haven't had this product too long, but I can give you a little info and update later. Well, first of all, I had it home delivered from FedEx and the box was a little banged up. Fairly easy to put together with the instructions. I was missing the nuts and washers to put on the front two tires so I had to jerry rig with help from Lowes for the time being. I called the Motion customer service, waited a long time but was finally helped by a nice lady. She supposedly mailed me the missing parts but I have yet to receive. The ATV seems pretty sturdy for the price. I don't particularly like plastic wheels, but oh well. I ordered a second battery because everyone says it doesn't power for long. The turning radius is VERY wide so I may cut off the turn stops so the radius will be a little tighter. Other than that, so far so good.
Nice little intermediate quad

I read all the horrible reviews before I bought this. I was VERY skeptical. Went ahead and bought the wal mart warranty so I don't need to worry. So far, so good. My 2 year old (about 32 lbs) rode around the house 3 different days. Took it to the desert for 3 days and he was riding with the bigger kids on their gas quads. It's slower, but he was happy. It is my sons 2nd quad. He had a 6 volt for his 1st year. We just charge it on the camper over night and he had a lot of ride time. There were a couple times he got stuck in the sand and the reverse wouldn't go. I put it in forward, the reverse again and it was fine. I cant agree with some reviews, but hey, it might flop tomorrow. Who knows. I've had it about 2 weeks. My son LOVES it! Good luck. There is a red Kawasaki one that had way better reviews, but a 2 week wait.
Great looking ATV

I bought this for my great-niece for her 6th birthday. It has ample leg room so she will be able to ride it for a few years. Liked that it didn't look like it was for a toddler as most of them do. In low gear it rides well on hard surfaces & in high gear it rides well on grass. The white trimmed in purple is great for little princesses.

When I was looking for a Power Wheels for my son who was turning 5, I really couldn't decide if he would need a 6v or a 12v. I am really glad I went with a 12 volt. If I had gotten the 6volt im sure he would have grown out of it within a year. However with the 12 volt, its big enough for him to grow in to, but small enough that he can still use it with no problems. It was relatively easy to put together. I put this together faster than I put our Kingsford Grill together, if that tells you anything. The instructions are simple to understand, and it comes with all the tools you need to get the job done (screwdriver, wrenches, screws, etc). I would definitely recommend this 4 wheeler for anyone with a little boy or little girl. Oh! The only thing it DIDNT come with, was 3-4 (cant remember which one) AA batteries, but I had those on hand. :)
Just what I wanted
11/12/2013 by 2Kids2Cute from Lima OH
It looks just like a real 4 wheeler. I got it for my 2 year old, which is young but he's been riding his cousins since he was 1 1/2. It's still new so far no complaints.
With A little modification!

This is a great first atv, my grandson just turned three and loves this thing. But this thing had no turning ratio you need 30 + feet to turn in circle this would frustrate him due to getting stuck by the fence or trees. I cut off the steering stoppers with a sawzall much better turning ability. The kid is riding for hours on the dirt and rocks around the house and this thing can get up and go to.

Purchased this for our grandson.
Son can't get enough of his ATV
10/17/2013 by Keychain01 from Springfield, OH
This seemed to work better in grass than on concrete/pavement. Not sure if anyone else had issues with this, but the handle bars were kind of hard to install.
I Wouldn't Recommend
10/14/2013 by MizzTish from New Bern, NC
I bought this for my son for his 3rd Christmas and when I took him out to ride it (after charging for the recommended time and following all the directions completely) the battery only lasted 15 minutes tops...not only that when my son went to press the button to make it go in reverse it wouldn't move and when it went forward it hesitated before it finally moved. I called the company and they gave no assistance what so ever, but they made sure they told me not to return it to the store...and that I need to purchase a brand new battery in order for it to work properly and that it isn't covered in warranty so I would have to pay out of pocket...my son only rode it about 2 more times after that because it wasn't functioning properly so I am stuck with something I paid 198.00 for and it doesn't work. Buyer be ware please it isn't worth the money you pay for it.
Poor battery life
I have had this product for a year and a half and now they battery will not hold a charge. You cannot purchase a replacement for this at Walmart. You must order one through the manufacture and they are $70.00 plus shipping. I wish I would have purchased the Power Wheels instead. I know they stand behind their products and the batteries last twice as long and cost half as much.

We got this for my son on his third birthday. He loves it it is very sterdy so far he goes off the sidewalk. He rides it in grass, dirt and the street good battery life.
9/24/2013 by SunnyinCalli from Yorba Linda, CA
This was the perfect gift for our son. He turned six which seems a bit old, but the power and weight capacity work out great. He and our 9 year old daughter have been able to ride it together. Which, by the way, is not recommended from the manufacture.

It was a gift from grandma. It has great speed , my son loves it!
WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!
This was purchased as birthday present on May 1, 2013 for my daughter and she thought it was awesome...I researched the best ride ons and this one had the highest reviews. I registered the ride on online with motiontrendz.com and 1 month after it was purchased BOTH front wheels cracked all the way through. My daughter rides it in the yard and on the pavement of our cul-de-sac. I asked the website where i had registered and their response was (exact words from email) Unfortunately, plastic pieces are considered wear and tear and are not covered under warranty. The Yamaha Raptor is completely made of plastic, so what is covered other than the battery for 3 months?? I cannot find replacement wheels anywhere.. My daughter is so disappointed she can't ride this ride on anymore.. DON'T BUY THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BUY/FIND REPLACEMENT PARTS OR TAKE IT TO THE DUMP.. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY....
8/30/2013 by dflo5864 from Clackamas, Oregon
We purchased this quad for my son's 5th birthday and he absolutely loves it. The raptor has great traction and is easy for him to use. It's also quite powerful as my husband (who is 160lbs) got on it and rode it around ( I made him get off because it has a 130lbs max). My son rides uphill on it, over grass, dirt, and rocks with ease. It's an awesome little quad and I would definitely recommend it.
Great product Hours of Fun

I have 10 grandchildren and we have gone through many a battery powered ride on but this one is awesome. Grows with children lasts and Motiontrendz for reasonably priced replacement parts. Easy to change parts. We just Love it and the kids do too.

My grandson loves his "tractor" and will play on it for hours if we let him. Very easy to assemble and runs for a long time on a battery charge.
Nice battery-powered 4-wheeler
Nice 12-volt 4 wheeler. Assembled easily. My son loves it.
8/13/2013 by xphiled from Salt Lake City, UT
My son just turned 5 years old and got this for his birthday. He is absolutely in love with it. It has 2 speeds, the top being about 5 mph. Which is pretty speedy for a little bike. My son and I would highly recommend it.
Great riding toy for my toddlers!
8/7/2013 by sharay09 from clarksville, TN
I purchased two of these four wheelers; one for my 3yr old daughter and one for my 2yr old son. They both LOVE them! The Raptors do great in the grass and dirt. We are very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone with toddlers!
FANTASTIC RIDE-ON! Horrible shipping condition.
8/6/2013 by SlugMaster2000 from Bennington, Vermont
I bought this for my son for his 5th birthday. It arrive several days before the Big Day... in a box that was crushed in, sopping wet, and full of holes. Upon opening, we discovered that the battery connection was damaged and the fenders had white streaks where they had been bent. However, we only had 2 days until the party at that point, so my husband got out his tools and was able to fix the battery connection. The fenders could not be helped. So it assembled easily and is larger than we expected, which is a good thing because he won't be outgrowing it any time soon! And it has real get-up-and-go, able to drive on gravel, pavement, and grass... even up small hills. My son loves it. It really is a fantastic ride-on and perfect for 5-8 year olds. The only thing that bothered me was the shipping condition. Wal-Mart needs to make sure that their products are handled better or else to go with a better shipping company.
Battery does not work
8/2/2013 by queen34 from appalachia va
I bought this for my child for their birthday. They have had it less than 30 days and the battery will not work. What a rip off!
7/30/2013 by Rhonni from Central AR
This was a gift for my 3 year old grandson. It was perfect. In minutes, he was driving like a pro. It had more power than many, but not so much to be dangerous. It is a nice size too, so he won't outgrow it in just a few months. He's one happy boy!
Better than most
7/24/2013 by NuttyMomof5kids from Mass
Bought this for our 4 yo sons birthday last week. We also bought a different brand for his 3 yo brother. This one is built MUCH better than the other one. The plastic is heavier duty, the ease of putting it together was MUCH easier ... He LOVED it! Although, within the first week, a front tire did crack. I called Customer Service and was sent a new tire free of charge within 4 days
So happpy with my purchase!
7/18/2013 by Kiya3x from Jamaica, NY
I purchased this quad as a present for my son's 3rd birthday. I am so pleased, I was initially going for a different style but after researching the product I found that the battery lasts longer than other power wheel s and the speed is faster than a few of the other selections. I made the right choice. My son wants to ride all the time and he got the hang of it the same day. Its very big and stylish. We get compliments whenever we take it out. If all goes well, it looks like he can enjoy his power wheel until he is 5 or 6.
7/12/2013 by Lashanta from Greenville, MS
My son love this thing but when the reverse stop work and only one back wheel that were move the whole thing made me mad. When I call and order the part it were cheat and easy to get. The hard part is taking it apart to replace the old part with the new part. I am still have trouble trying to take it apart.
My 2 year old LOVES it!
7/12/2013 by Dayna920 from Maine
I bought this for my sons second birthday. It arrived as expected and was pretty easy to put together. It was missing a nut but luckily my uncles a mechanic and only lives a few minutes away so it was no problem to grab an extra one!
good and bad...

My oldest son got this four wheeler almost 4 years ago for Christmas at almost 3yrs old.... not long after the battery wouldn't charge or hold a charge so we altered it to hook to a motorcycle battery that didn't work enough for my husbands bike worked great again! We recently purchased a scooter/four wheeler battery from Walmart for $35 much cheaper then the $70 of the battery it came with. Our youngest son who is 3 loves this four wheeler now. So with some alterations this product can last a long while!

My grandson's love this
6/18/2013 by HighlandGrandma from Highland, IN
The Yamaha Raptor is larger than the power wheels ATV that I purchased just before this one (also from Walmart.com). After putting them both together my husband says the Raptor is made better and it sits higher so that it will last longer. The maximum weight limit of the Yamaha is double that of the power wheels. My almost 5 year old grandson prefers this one and my grandson that just turned 3 prefers the smaller power wheels. I actually purchased the power wheels for the older boy since his favorite color is red and the Yamaha for the younger since he prefers blue but they ride each others and have a blast!
Buying it again
5/25/2013 by marissamakaylacayden from holbrook pa
we bought this for our son's 3rd birthday. We choose it because of the price, and he can grow with it....fits him perfect. He can steer and all....After 2 days of having it the motor and the gear shift went. Called the manufactor and the said take it backand get a new one.. So that's what were doing...
Great for younger kids too
4/17/2013 by honey777 from Washington, DC
My son is 3yrs old and he handles it very well. Once we showed him how to step down to go and how to stop, he never wants to get off. He hasnt mastered reversing yet, but Im sure he will master this as well in a few months. The only negative is that the battery dies pretty fast.
3/17/2013 by livlaughlove from lucas, IA
I bought this for my two year old daughter and she loves it. We have a ton of hills in our yard and it can handle all of them even the steep ones. Assembly was easy all parts needed were included. The battery has an acceptable time frame for a kid her age; about two hours! Great buy for a great price. I would buy again!
price wise very good

my grandkids loved it so much i bought another one.
Exactly what you would expect.
3/11/2013 by sscarbr from Springdale, AR
It was just what we wanted. A fun riding toy for our child, safe, durable, easy to assemble. We got ours on sale so the price was great for all this. Only thing is that charging has to be done fairly frequently, depending on use. We charge it about every other day and you need a phillips to open up the seat and access the battery. Our child enjoys it very much.
Room to grow!
1/22/2013 by flowersnkids from Moreheaad City , NC
We wanted a ride on for our 6 yr old that would still allow him some growing room. This is excellent. Since you sit up on it instead of down in it like some ride ons, it allows him to enjoy it now & for some time to come too.
Awesome 3 yr old starter
1/7/2013 by ProudPopa from Sulphur, LA
Bought this for my 3yr old son, and he has loved it so far. It has far exceeded my expectations as to what he would be able to do with it and how long he can ride it before recharging it. The weather has not been the best since Christmas, but I've seen him cross small ditches with some water in them, ride through the wet yard with it, and it just keeps going. I would not think twice about buying another one if I had to.
Just what I expected.

Cheaply made but fun for a young kid
12/29/2012 by zscountrymominohio from Howard OH
My son is almost 5 years old so he loves this thing. However, it is cheaply made given that we paid $200 for it. The back fenders will likely break soon as they already look stressed. The gas pedal slides around a lot since it is not secured to anything. It took considerably longer than 20 minutes to assemble and my husband is mechanically inclined. During the first ride, the one wheel fell off; so my husband had to re tighten all the wheels, this time using his own tools to do it. Due to how happy this made my son I am so glad we got it but I do have buyer's remorse sometimes when I notice yet another thing that will break soon.
looks great! rides great in the yard.
12/28/2012 by gmansmomma from concord, nc
My lil one got this for Christmas. Easy to assemble, easy for him to control (3 1/2 yo) Looks real so he feels big. His big brother wants to ride it too. (7) The only thing is the fuse blew within about 20mins. I am hoping it was just a bad one and not a surge problem. I changed it and he was off and running. Charging again and will see what happens tomorrow. Over all, really great bike.
12/28/2012 by bonitaf76 from ocala, fl
Works great in our sandy Florida yard. One difficulty is that you have to unscrew the seat to remove the battery w(ith a philips screwdriver ) to recharge it each and every time...kinda a pain.
Bought 2 only 1 works! :(
12/26/2012 by xblayzed25 from Jim Thorpe, PA
We bought 2 for our kids for Christmas. One works great! The kids LOVE it. The other one... nothing :( We've been trying to figure out what the problem is. Not sure if we're going to have to return it? Putting them together... eh. Pretty basic, but it does come with a great instructional video! Make sure you look at all four wheels. The two front ones have inserts. The two back ones do not have the insert. Other than that, relatively easy. As for the quality, the tires are kind of a cheap plastic. Not very good grip. The rest of it is wonderful (the one that works atleast). Our kids are 4 (a very BIG 4), and 7. Both fit on it great and their weight did not weigh it down too much. They still moved pretty good.
Fairly good electric ATV for the money.
12/23/2012 by GrandpaHenry from Nebraska Panhandle
Could be sturdier. Fenders and brush guard are pretty flimsy. Wouldn't be surprised if they broke right away, especially with our grandson. Would really like to see the design improved to include a charging port so you wouldn't have to take the seat off to charge the battery, and functional key switch and padded seat. The "realistic throttle sounds" are pretty quiet and would be better if they where incorporated with the foot throttle. Would also like to see a thumb throttle but can see where that would be safety issue for the intended riders. It would be nice if they included a youth helmet as well. To people considering purchasing this, you can buy it cheaper on-line and probably get same day pickup at the local Walmart. Saved us $30.

Super ride on. It was easy to put together.
Do not buy!
11/27/2012 by Kynurse14 from Louisville,ky
I bought this for my son for his 3rd bithday he absolutely loved it. It looks nice and even worked great for a few months but then it quit holding charge. I bought the warranty on it but it doesn't cover the battery. When I called they said it had to be the battery or the charger so they would send me a new charger but if that wasn't the problem there was nothing they could do. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy it's not worth the time or money. Forget buying a new battery I will just buy a different brand.
Purchased for a 4 year old.low, and reverse is out.

This product was great for 3 months then low and reverse stopped working.Very disapointed.
Best Birthday Present Ever!
11/15/2012 by EJDsMom from Commerce, MI
I originally purchased last years Black Friday special for my twins for their 3rd birthday in March. When we opened them up & charged the battery, they died within 45 minutes, never to take a charge again. Fortunately I purchased the warranty on them and got a full refund. I then purchased 2 of these for them and we LOVE them! When fully charged they go for hours and are very rugged and sturdy and have held up very well with 2 little boys riding them constantly. Well worth the extra money to purchase these rather than the ones on special!
Great product Well worth the money
10/8/2012 by 37happycustomer from Kingston , N.Y
I waited 6 months to review based on some bad experiences with ride on toys. I had some un known problems with the charging and when I spoke to the 800 customer service to my surprise she was great and informed me of the steps to take to solve the issue. Very amazed by the customer service. As far as the quad my 4 year old loves it.
great but a little difficult to put together
9/26/2012 by spiritsangel7 from brazil, in
i bought this as a gift for my best friends six year old son. he loved it and rode it around during the whole birthday party and then sat on it when they were doing other stuff. its roomy enough he could also offer rides to some of his friends at the party. i will admit that i am not used to putting things together but with that being said i still thought it was more difficult. i had an exceptionally hard time trying to figure out the handle bars and if they were tight enough i still had to have it adjusted at the party because they werent right and wouldn't sit steady and kept moving as he drove. the battery lasts for about two hours before it goes into red which i thought was a really good deal. i would still buy it again but with hopes that they could get the handlebars fixed to where they would be a tighter fit to start out. it has been a month since his birthday party and he still rides it at least once or twice a week. the handlebars still come loose and his parents have had to tighten them once already but as much as he loves the gift i still think it was worth buying.
9/7/2012 by travkell from Iowa
This 4 wheeler "looks" very cool but has been a huge disappointment for us. We bought it for Christmas and 3 months later the charger quit working so we had to purchase a $50 charger. 3 months after that it would ONLY run in reverse, absolutly no going forward which obviosly isn't going to work. Needless to say our 3 year old was heartbroken when we had to get rid of it.
Good ATV for beginner and good speed
8/29/2012 by BigSoups from Bridgeport, CT
This little machine was more than I expected. It was very easy to assemble and perfect for my 65lbs son. Looks very realistic, however I expected more of a realisic sound effect. I do wish that it had a power off switch because that would eliminate having to unscrew seat to disconnect battery when ever ATV was not in use. Overall very satisfied. My son loves it.
Battery is horrible
8/28/2012 by AngryA from Ill-annoyed
I have no complaints about this item except for the battery life. The battery lasted for exactly 1 year and will no longer take a charge. I would have no problem buying a new one if it were not for the $70 price tag.
The two that I got where junk!!!!!!!!!!
8/25/2012 by Firefighter205 from Farwell, MI
I purchased the Raptor 700R for my three year old he loves it. The problem I have with the four wheeler is that the first one only ran for three months then the high gear went out of it. So I got a new one today and it doesn't work. The low gear and reverse don't work right out the box. Now the problem is that I have a three year old that thought he was getting a new one and it doesn't work. I have to return another one. Thanks Walmart, who is going to pay for my gas for another trip to Walmart is another town because the store that I bought this one from doesn't have anymore. Unlike PowerWheels the company that makes the four wheeler doesn't have service centers for there product. If it breaks after 90 days you have to send it in to get it fixed.
Not a happy little boy :(

Bought this for my sons 4th birthday I have had so may issues with it I would NOT recommend this product to anyone. Within the first week we had to replace the gear box. Then the fuses kept blowing on the battery and the frame has cracked the motion trendz company better replace this especially seeing that it is only 3 1/2 months old and for the price that I payed for a TOY... Not a happy mom....

A great match
7/25/2012 by RowdyRy from Fort Collins, CO
My son is 2.5 and this quad is just right. I did in store pick up at a near by WalMart and it was a clean cut process. The quad is a touch big but is perfect to grow in to. Strong motor and sound effects are great. Envy of all the kids in our neighborhood. We live on the outer limits of town and this quad works well off road on the dirt.
Great for my son
7/14/2012 by kole82 from Springfield,IL
Wanted to buy our two yr old son something that he could ride and fellow his siblings cause he would run around. But we wanted something that was going to last a long time for him and this was prefect for the weight limit cause it goes up to 135ibs which is great!! He can reach the pedal fine too. His loves his four wheeler!!! Love the fact that it also has on the four wheeler how much battery you have left!!! The only con is the stickers are coming of where his feet go but other than that he loves it!!!
After 3 rides it doesn't start.
7/13/2012 by GaRealtorMom from N. Georgia
I bought this 4 wheeler for my six year old son's birthday because of the weight limit. I thought he could get atleast a year or two use out of it. He wrote it 3 times and now it doesn't go at all. He didn't even ride it the full time that the literature said the battery would last. He wasn't rough with it he was just riding it around the yard while I was doing lawn work. I have tried charging the batter and it still doesn't work. I am glad I bought the warranty. Now we will see if it was worth it and I will let you know.
Awesome little ride on!
6/30/2012 by vbbbmom from Chesapeake Beach, MD
I did alot of reading of reviews when I knew I wanted to purchase one of these for my son. we bought it for him this past Christmas so we have had it for over 6 months now. Best purchase! He loves it, our backyard has some hills, he makes it up most of them and the ones he has a little trouble with he takes it on at a different angle and somehow gets up it. He was 2-1/2 at Christmas will not be 3 until the end of July, but he is the size of a 5 year old so my biggest concern was weight. This one holds up to 130 lbs, even though he is not chunky he is a big little kid so he will be able to ride this for a very long time. Despite other reviews, the battery life is great for us, it sees action at least 5 days a week and is ridden by multiple riders at a time. About every third day or so when we park it for the night we plug the battery in and it is ready for the next day. Very impressed with this Yamaha product and with the price.
poor battery life
6/27/2012 by mema2005 from Hamilton,IL
great kids have fun but fun is short lived, needs charging not only daily but frequently during play, battery charge last approx 30 minutes of good riding fun with each charge
Just his size

This was for my grandsons 4th birthday. It is just his size. He loves riding it and his friends watch with envy. It runs great on the pavement and handles well in the dirt.
Inadequate warranty, Not worth the money
6/10/2012 by TTKKWD from Sulphur, LA
Bought this for my 2 year old son for Christmas 2011. I choose this one for the high weight limit, figuring that it would last a while and his older sisters could ride it sometimes too. When not being played with, it has always been stored indoors. Within two weeks of getting it, the reverse stopped working for no reason at all. We got out the paperwork to file for warranty repair. Upon reading the warranty, we see that it's not really a warranty at all. You can only file a claim if the 4 wheeler hasn't been used. What good is that? Fine then, my son played with and was okay that it didn't go in reverse. Well six months later and now it won't go forward either. So now we have a pile of plastic junk sitting in our garage that doesn't work and a dissapointted two year old. What a huge waste of money. Wish I would have just bought the real gas power thing now. I definitely wouldn't recommend this to a friend and personally won't buy junk from this manufacturer again.
Seems like an excel. product & easy to assemble
6/8/2012 by DW229 from Chicago suburb, IL
I bought this for my grandson's 5th birthday. He has already had a blast with it just riding along the sidewalks in our suburban neighborhood (no ATV-type areas around here). Taught him how to make a 3-point turn so that he can only go down 5 houses and then back. It was VERY simple to put together altho I would have my own adjustable wrench handy as the one that came with it was a little big for the few bolts you need it with. WAS a nice feature for the mfg to include the three tools that you do need for it. He doesn't even know that it CAN go 5 MPH, so I can't wait to see his face when I show him what it really can do! I did a lot of reading of reviews before I chose this product, so I hope mine helps you decide. Hasn't run out of steam yet, but we just plug it in after each use and it's ready for the next day. AND... it was $100 cheaper at WalMart that at other places you might look for it! Site-to-store was free and the box is not so big that it can't fit into the trunk or across the back seat of most cars.
Returned to store 3 times
5/24/2012 by An anonymous customer from Vicksburg, ms
Forward gears went out on 3 different ones that we returned! Try explaining to a 3 yr old he can't ride his 4-wheeler bc it won't go forward! Walmart was easy to deal with and did take it back and we ended up just getting money back on the last time we returned it. Going to try the power wheels one now!

We purchased this awesome 4 wheeler for my son 2 years ago. He loves it but when we moved, we lost the power cable to charge the battery. I looked everywhere and couldn't find one, so finally I just rigged something to charge it. That worked for a while but now the battery is bad and I cant find a new battery anywhere. The ones that Walmart sell, have different dimensions and different plug ins. I would definately recommend this 4 wheeler to anybody but make sure you can get a spare battery
would not recommend do not buy

I bought this for my son for christmas on 2011 he was so excited but ever since we have had it the charger had to b replaced because it didnt work the company did do that but then the battery wouldnt hold a charge and he has not even got to ride it and this is two weeks now so i had to replace the battery because the company wouldnt do that, now its march an he has only got to ride this thing maybe 10 times because now it wont go in reverse when we get it going again it wont go forward. For me this thing cost a lot of money and for my son not to even get to wear it out makes me mad i will never buy another product from yamaha and i would NEVER RECOMMEND this to anyone.
GO FOR IT!
2/11/2012 by icelady01 from miami, fl
I was skeptical about purchasing this at walmart. but it is great. I got it in December for my 3yr old son. He loves it. It has two speeds. I taught him to ride on the low speed. Now that he has the hang of it. He only rides in full force. I have to chase him when he rides. Its fun and he loves going on hill and curves. doesnt get stuck in dirt. I recommend it for age 3 to 5. I havent had any problems with the battery or any malfunctions. But do be careful with the handle that change the speed. It appears that it can break easily if handled ruffly. It was easy to assemble. its good for the price. and cute once it is together.
Very unhappy with this product
1/24/2012 by Dc36 from South Georgia
Bought it as a Christmas present, it hasn't worked right since day one. Motion Trendz refuses to replace it, they keep mailing me parts and expecting me to service it. I will be dumping this off at walmart regardless of the motion trendz company telling me that I cannot. We also bought a fisher price Kawasaki ride on at the same time, we have not had a single issue with that one, it has run great.
Works great. No problems. Good product
Quad has been agood product and has beed great for my grandson.
Great but weak plastic
1/14/2012 by PolaRican from Charleston SC
This product is been great for my son and he surely enjoys it but I was a little surprised that the Engineering of the frame was made of thin plastic and it came out of the box with marks of weakended plastic points on the rear fenders. Aside from that the Four wheeler power wheels has been a blast for my 4 year old. The price could be a bit lower than what I paid for it.

We bought this 4-wheeler for our 23 month old grandson for Christmas 12/25/2011. It is now his favorite thing in the world. We are amazed at how well he can control it. He can ride it anywhere in the neighborhood and even climbs small hills. The only negative I see is it takes 14 hours to charge the battery. Other ride-on have a rapid charger that charges the battery in 2 hours. The cost is around $42.00 at Walmart. An extra battery for this ride-on was $49.00 so I purchased an extra battery. This was the best way to go. Now we always have a fresh battery.
Not worth the money
We got this for my son for Christmas and within two hours of putting the battery in and letting him ride, the reverse quit working!! I did not pay this much money for a defective product!!
great does all that I expected of it.

was a present for my grandson he loves it. It has lots of power for climbing and he rides it on the street or the sidewalk. He takes it up the drive way with no problem on pulling power.
Our Son Loves This Quad
1/2/2012 by da923 from Citrus Heights, Ca.
Easy to put together. Did have a problem with a broken piece on the plastics when it came out of the box, but other than that the battery lasts a long time, and our son has a blast on it. Really like the fact that it goes up to 130 lbs so he can ride it for years. Found the website that offers replacement parts if anything breaks. Great toy for the value.
Great for a 3-year-old
Love this four-wheeler. Haven't had a chance to test its extreme durability, but so far, our son loves it. He even hauls his sister around on it. I was a little disappointed that the tires are hard plastic and not rubber like a real four-wheeler, but I guess I didn't pay the big bucks either. The battery plug to plug into the charger is HARD to pull apart, but my husband was able to get it done.

GREAT ITEM!! My 6 y/o LOVES IT!!! Had it for a week and the battery is still good. I would def recommend this to others!!
Seems nice but dissapoints
So we are now at the two year mark since buying ours. It has been siting unused in our back yard for a year. First the pedal blew (we hadn't even owned it a year) and it took the company almost 2 months to send the replacement. Well right after the pedal blew our battery started going out. I called and they had me replace the fuse, no help, then look at the pedal, it was fine. Finally I was told that the battery was dead because I had mis-charged it which voids the warranty. I ALWAYS followed the included instructions on how to charge it. So now I have to look at either spending $75.00 for a new battery and shipping or just spend another $75 and buy a whole new ride on period. I am really thinking of just going all new.
My son really likes his fourwheeler!
After reading many reviews on serveral different fourwheelers, I decided to purchase this one for my son for Christmas. It holds up to 130 lbs, which is way more than any others I found and it was about the same price. My son is 6 and weighs 45-50 lbs so I figured he would be able to ride it for a long time. It seems to do very well on grass. It goes well on gravel too, but is a bumpy ride, which is expected with plastic tires. I would recommend this to anyone who has a flat yard or driveway. We have lots of hills and I read a few reviews which stated that it would go up hills, but it really doesn't. It might go up small hills, but if steep at all it will not make it. Luckily we have flat areas where he can ride. Overall, I think it is a good purchase for the money.
Wife and I purchased this atv for our 5 year old son for christmas. This is an excellent ride on atv.Our son rode it along with his 3 year old brother for hours before they got off of it and it was still running with power to spare. This product was very easy to put together allso and only took about 10 to 15 mins. and he was riding.VERY good product well worth the money and will probally buy another for the 3 year old.Would recommed this product to anybody looking to buy a ride-on atv its a great toy.
Wonderful Ride-On for a 4-5 year old

This was just the size for my grandson. He loves it. It is not too fast, just right in fact.
Good electric scooter for smaller children
12/27/2011 by An anonymous customer from Tallahassee
The initial construction was pretty simple, and the included how-to DVD certainly helped things along. The charger requires 14 hours each time...so be aware of that if you expect to use it at a certain time. The two speeds are adequate for my two year old, but I wish there was a way to lock it in a certain speed and keep it there...my son figured out how to change it to high within 5 minutes. The unit can drive up my very steep driveway without much effort, but you have to pay attention when starting g on concrete in high gear as the wheels will sometimes slip.
12/26/2011 by Dgah from Boynton Beach, Fl
my daughter is 6 years old and is big for her age so finding a powered ride on under $400 was challenging until I found this great deal at Walmart. My husband and I separated before Christmas so I didn't know how I was going to assemble it but the Walmart associate assured me it was easy. It really was easy, I was able to put it together with no problem. Another concern would be that my daughter was too big for it but that wasn't the case as she absolutely loves it!
educational for little ones
12/26/2011 by momoandyogi
my son is learning how to pay attention, how things work with different gears and how he can ride in different types of ground
Great product, but it had been previously returned
12/26/2011 by donabalone from San Diego, Ca
Great product, but it had been previously returned. It is missing 4 hubcaps. Also, two screws that held the plastic body on had been torn out by the previous owner, and I made a repair by taking out the old screws and installing oversized screws with large washers to cover up the large holes where the old screws had torn through. Maybe an oversized person had riden the ATV before. I very much recomend the product, based on what I saw firsthand and by reading previous reviews, but my advice is to never take a pre-opened, returned product.
I love this bike, easy to put together but...
12/26/2011 by ilovemysonhjr
My son got this from "Santa". He rode it for 30 minutes, and the reverse just magically stopped working. My husband took the gear box and pedal apart to make sure the wires didn't come loose, but everything was connected. I will be calling the company tomorrow to ask for a part or to see if they can replace the wheeler.
GREAT 12 VOLT BATTERY-POWERED RIDE-ON!
12/25/2011 by pharmgal from undisclosed
We bought this for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas because she's been wanting one for a long time and it was $100.00 at the Walmart near us; what an awesome price! The most important thing that we were looking for is the maximum weight capacity which was 130 lbs because my daughter is pretty big for her age and we also wanted her to enjoy it a little longer as she's growing.
So far, so good.
12/24/2011 by Bucksfan10 from Kokomo, IN
I have just finished putting this together for a grandson's Christmas gift. I can't wait to see his eyes when he sees it. It was easy to put together and all of the tools you need are included. In addition to the written directions, there is a fairly well done short video that explains each step. It appears to be pretty well constructed for a toy as inexpensive as this one but we won't know until it's been ridden for awhile. I have high hopes for it!
Okay for the price.
12/23/2011 by SMH20062006 from York, PA
The easy 1-2-3 step assembly on the box is not so easy in my opinion. Word of advice: rely on the video provided and ignore the paper instructions. Out of the box I got everything together up to the front axle to realize none of the nuts and washers were provided for the front axle (missing from box, they are normally provided). It was the weekend so I just went to the hardware store and bought them. Customer service is only open monday through friday 8-5. So unrealistic. The front grill is very cheap and one of the four holes was not drilled through the entire way so ours only has 3 screws holding it onto the frame at the moment. The foot pedal easily pops out of the frame which seems cheap to me. For $200 it's an alright four wheeler. Big bonus is it holds up to 130lbs which is why I chose it over another brand/model. It's for Christmas so my son hasn't gotten to ride it yet but hopefully it will work as well as the other reviews says it does.
fun fun fun

This fourwheeler was bought for my 2 year old grandson. He can reach the gas pedal and has a blast riding it. Very easy to manuever and operate. He loves it.
A yr after purchase this still works great

We bout this last yr for our 4 yr old's Christmas. It has been rode hard, by both my boys (11 and 5) and hasn't had any problem. At times I have seen them both on it...great value for the price. We have bought more expensive ones in the past and none have had the lasting power of this one!!!
Not sure need help from my son..thought it be easy
12/18/2011 by SJgirl13 from Thorofare, New Jersey
I got it out of the box..discolored around rims..but I let it go...my daughter had to pick it up so I figured..I would deal with it....Screw wholes hard to line up...Handle bars were made wrong position..need my son to come over to try to turn them around or they go back...rest seems easy, but I just got it so didn't try battery or anything yet, it's a Christmas present for my grandson.. so I need to make sure it's all good for Christmas morning..will comment again...
Very Poor Quality!
12/18/2011 by SusanSusanSusan from Florida
I was impressed at first because this came with a great instructional dvd on assembling it; however, there is SOOOOOOO much plastic that I know it won't last very long. The front guard, the tires, just everything is plastic. You really have to be careful not to lift it up by any of the plastic, or it will break right off. Lots of stress fracture looking areas in a lot of the plastic body pieces as well. I would have paid more for better quality pieces.
Good Quality poor disclaimer
11/6/2011 by Happilyamotherof2 from GP, OR
I bought this for my sons 6th birthday. While the actual product seems to be amazing we had to return it today. (shortly after opening the box.) The store seemed to have repackaged a previously used quad. Stickers were peeling off, tires were worn, and the plastics were scratched and faded. The quad worked okay but was not going to keep it for the price I paid for it! He loves the new one, and it can hold him 50 lbs and his sister thats 48lbs and they both love it. It handles better on the road then grass or gravel. I love that it has a battery indicator light so you can see how far you can go with the battery, unlike my daughters power wheel jeep that will just stop working on our adventures. All in all I recommend the product just make sure the package seems to be factory sealed.
5 YEARS, 4 kids and going strong!
11/5/2011 by Momto4under6
5 years ago we purchased this model for our then 2 (now 7) year old. It's been ridden hundreds of hours and is still in great shape! It's lived with us in California and Florida- with the great weather we're outside a ton and this seems to be the toy of choice for the hour of battery life. We have replaced the battery once, replaced the back wheels twice and it's amazing both on blacktop and does fine on our wood decking, pool deck concrete, and grass. It spins a bit in the mud but I could never complain considering the amount of abuse all of our kids have put it through and it's still kicking like it's brand new. We have a Jeep Powerwheels too but it's so difficult for the kids to steer through the grass and now that my boys are bigger their legs are simply too long for it- not a problem with the ATV! We'll be adding two more of these to the collection this Christmas.
Awesome 4-wheeler for kids.
10/22/2011 by lovemybbabies
We reviewed several 4-wheelers before settling on this one. This was a great pick, we love the fact that this one went up to 130 lbs! So, right now both of our little guys can ride together and its also big enough they can grow into it. The only minor complaint I would have is the fact that you have to completely unscrew the seat every time you charge it.
10/21/2011 by jenni846 from Cincinnati
Our 6 yr. old loves it! This Yamaha exceeded our expectations on performance, quality, and appearance. It looks so sporty just like a real four-wheeler. We also have a fisher price kawasaki and it doesn't even compare to this Yamaha.
This product eats batteries, which are not cheap!
10/12/2011 by unhappymamaw from WV
We have had this item for two years and it has hardly been used due to the fact the batteries do not keep a charge. We have purchased two batteries and both will not hold their charge. Hate, hate, hate this item. It was a huge disappointment and we do not know where to go for assistance! Unless you like buying expensive batteries (that the store does not carry) stay away from this item. Nothing but disappointment, for us and our grandson.
Deffective right out of box
10/11/2011 by consumer999999
I purchased the Yamaha raptor for my grandsons third birthday. getting a jump on things I assembled and charged the battery the night before(battery requires 14 hours of charge time). The next day I thought I was ready when he came over he was really happy. I placed the battery in the unit and replaced the seat. he jumped on the yamaha expecting to go, but it did not work. moving the gear lever from low to high nothing, and then we placed it in reverse it did work. I got out the manual to call tech support, wow they are not open because the only work monday through friday 8 am to 5pm then to bad. they made sure to place stickers and cards all over assuring that you do not return to walmart. very disapointed, would not buy again.
My grandson loves this bike!
10/7/2011 by Grandpajeff from Planet Earth
Easy to assemble and has lots of power for my 31 month old grandson. It would have been nice to have had a helmet come with it...he loves Mater.
great customer service
We bought this in July and the battery never really lasted long- we have a john deere as well and that was outlasting the 4 wheeler all the time- well then it just stopped working completely. So I called the # on the product and got a very helpful rep, Kim, and she had me get a voltage reading on the battery- which showed 12.5- so that seemed good, but then after more discussion she told me since these batteries sit on a shelf for a year or more without ever being used or charged, cells can die, so mine was considered defective even though it showed a good reading. She sent me a new shifter, battery and charger all at no cost, and I recieved within 3 business days. Ever since it has been running great! And my boys, 2 and 5 love it!! I even ride it sometimes!
well made, very good
kids love it
GET THE EXTENDED WARANTY/2 YEAR SERVICE PLAN
I purchased this April 2010. It was really great for about 6 months. I'm glad I got the 2 year service plan. I've replaced the pedal twice, and the gear shift once so far. I'm about to replace the battery because it won't hold a charge now at all. I know every kind of toy like this has problems, so I'm glad this wasn't as expensive as some could be. But I have 2 boys who ride this all the time and love it! Just get the warranty for a few years. Before my warranty expires, I may call and get another pedal and gear shift for the future so I don't have to pay for it! :)
Clearly not a lemon
I thought I'd take my chances with this atv - just assumed all the negative reviews were angry buyers... NOT TRUE! My son used this once and the slow speed as well as the reverse stopped working. This must be a problem with these as so many reviews had the same problem. Other things I didn't like about this was you can't lock out the fast speed so they can go any speed they want, there is no real off switch, the stickers that came on it looked like my two year old put them on himself they were so bad, the turning radius is horrible, and they have so many "rules" for your child while riding (no grass, no dirt, no rain, concrete will damage tires, no fun!)! Things I did like were the seat was very nice and the atv itself was very heavy and felt quality built - of course felt and actually are quality are apparently two different things. Even though the atv had "do not return to store" plastered in about 10 different spots, I brought it back and the people at Walmart were very helpful and labeled it defective, returned my money and helped me pick out a new John Deere. Don't waste your time with this atv - it seems like you have a 50/50 chance it's going to stay working, not something you want to take a chance on when they cost that much.
Bought (2) of these for my daughters 4 years ago.
I bought 2 of these units 4 years ago for my daughters and I just replaced the batteries...I hope to get another few years out of them so my son can also get some use out of them....Great units for the money and highly recommend!!
This is awesome quality quad! I bought it for my 3 year old-he loves it! Can control reverse knob perfectly! My 1.5 year old can fit on the back and also can drive it alone, steering is easy enough for him. We have grass, hill and gravel drive way-the 700 has no problem getting anywhere in wet grass, gravel or hills!! You son will love it-
Great for my 4ft tall 75 lbs 6 yrs old.
9/11/2011 by palbg from FL
I love the 2 different speeds.Helps a lot for my biginner child .it is great that it holds up to 150 in pounds since everything else is either too small or too light weight. My son RJ loves it a lot.Works great in the backyard. Thx Patti
It worked great, for the first two weeks.
9/6/2011 by JBB2008 from Alabama
My son loves this 4-wheeler and I have to agree I was very impressed with it, for the first two weeks. The reverse doesn't work now, which is crazy, my 3 year old has only had it for TWO weeks! I have to load it up and take it back to the store for a credit, then wait to have another shipped, since they aren't sold in our local store.
Crazy Good Value
9/4/2011 by LouisianaDad from New Orleans
We got this for my son's 4th birthday and he absolutely loves it. We've had it for about 30 days now and it still brings a smile to his little face. We spent $2,000 to bring the family to Disney earlier this year and I swear the $200 I spend on this 4-wheeler has made him happier. It's quick on the cement and tough on terrain (around the yard and up/down little ditches, etc). The battery last for quite long enough daily and recharges easily overnight.
Perfect for the "in between" ages!
8/30/2011 by mleigh06055 from Wisconsin
We decided to buy the Yamaha Raptor over all of the other products out there because it has a weight limit of 130lbs!!! I bought this for my 6 year old for "bigger" fun outside toy because she has grown out of all her smaller toys. this is perfect because she can use it for years to come....and my younger kids will also be able to as well when they get a little bigger. I was worried that buying something for this price was going to be a mistake because it wouldn't be durable enough to withstand my daughter who is on the rough side :-) I am VERY PLEASED to find that it has NOT disappointed me at all. It drives smooth as it has shocks on the rear. It does NOT get stuck at all!! It drives through the grass that is overgrown. It is easy to operate with 2 speeds and a reverse. In fact, she gives the younger ones rides...FUN FOR EVERYONE!! I am so happy we chose this over all the other ones out there. The battery life so far has been great as well!! Hours of riding! The only thing I would have liked to have seen is this product offered in girl colors. But she looks good driving blue too :-)
EXCELLENT ATV FOR EXTENEDED YEARS
8/27/2011 by lazytrip from RAPID CITY, SD
I BROUGHT THIS ATV FOR MY GRANDSON I LOVE THE EASE OF PUTTING IT TOGETHER AND IT'S WEIGHT LIMIT IS VERY HIGH COMPARED TO OTHER PRODUCTS. THIS ATV WILL LAST FOR MORE THAN A YEAR OR TWO IF IT'S TAKEN CARE OF. EXCELLENT BUY FOR THE MONEY
A good product for the money.
8/22/2011 by Gman3yrold from northern virginia
We bought this battery powered ATV for our sons 3rd birthday and he has not stopped smiling since he first got on. He's about 37 lb. and it has plenty (well enough) of power for him. The rev., low, high shifter seems a bit flimsy, but will see over time how it performs. Very easy to put the few items, not attached from the factory, on to the ATV. It even comes with tools! Will see over time how the battery life stands up to use. So far the 19 hour first charge has been good for a full day of riding. The plastic fenders already seem faded, but will most likely take a beating from the boy over time.
Great ride on....
8/16/2011 by littleuno from Rockwood, MI
This was my 4 year old daughter's birthday present and she along with the neighborhood kids love it. Purchased it over the other quad's because the weight limit goes up to 130lbs, allowing her to enjoy it for a long time.
BUYER'S PLEASE BEWARE
My husband purchased this product on 3/11 along with the Wal Mart and our child has maybe 15 hours of ride time on it. In late June it just quit working. Contacted the manufacture advised battery wasn't charging and unit would not function. They advised me they had to go through their protocol for warranty service & repair which consist of trial and error. During call I was asked to disassemble the pedal put wires together etc and from that they shipped me a gear shifter which by the way they sent it snail mail 8 to 10 business per representative. After it didn't work, they offered to send me a new battery however, I must pay for it $60 plus shipping. I then contacted the extended warranty company and they told me their warranty won't kick in until late September however, because of pre-existing issues they warranty is basically void. Regardless of how much joy you think your child my have with this unit, it isn't worth losing $225 plus dollars and time with it.
Great Ride on Toy that all the kids love
8/7/2011 by lmurr1 from Scranton, PA
From the biggest (12 years old) to the smallest (3 years old) they all love this ride on. The older ones drive the younger ones and then they get a turn by themselves. The big wheels handle our yard well, better then the mustang that we have. I have a great time watching the kids ride around too. We did not have a problem putting the ATV together and it looks very nice. We purchased an extra battery to get twice the fun. The ATV is sturdy, easily holding 2 children and is easy for the older kids to drive, since the peddle is not boxed in the body. Great buy for the money!
Don't waste your money!

We only had the Raptor for 1 week, before experiencing problems with it. During the second week, one of the wheel motors died. Our friends have the Polaris Outlaw and absolutely love it. They have had it for over a year now and have had no problems yet. Buyer's beware!
Tore up in less than 1 month, battery stinks
7/7/2011 by WhyWontYouTakeMyNickName from Kentucky
GOOD STUFF: I bought this for my 3-year-old daughter. She loved it. It pulls well going uphill with her on it (she weighs about 40 pounds). It was easy to drive. Assembly was super easy. Fast/slow/reverse shifter was super easy for her to use. However.... BAD STUFF: I had to charge the battery after about 1 to 2 hours of use (not constant riding, she started and stopped a lot). We did the initial charge & discharge as it stated on the package. Now, it's completely torn up. She pushes the pedal & it won't go & all the battery lights come on. It's something in the shifter - if you can get it in just the right spot, it will go sometimes....in process of getting replacement/refund...will update as to how that works out.
battery wont hold a charge
6/26/2011 by tommymommy2011 from Oklahoma City, OK
My mother bought this for my son for his birthday. He loves it. Only problem is that the battery wont hold a charge. We charged it for about 15 hours then my son jumped on and it made it halfway across our yard and the battery went dead. We charged it again and the same thing happened. Went to walmart to buy another one and they dont sell the battery. The Peg Perego and the Power Wheels batteries Walmart does sell will not fit this four wheeler. Just makes me angry that they can sell a product like this and not sell the battery.
I purchased this for my son's 3rd birthday. Although it ran great for about an hour, the battery soon ran out. We followed instructions on how to recharge and then put it back in. It then ran for less then 5 minutes and no longr worked. I had one very sad little boy.
taking back tonite
bought 1 for my son. worked well, goy my daughter one. now had his 2 months and hers maybe 1 month. one won't go forward and 1 won't go backward. they love riding and r very disappointed. i am very frustrated by them.

I purchased this vehicle for my son who was turning 3. I specifically chose the Raptor since it held up to 120 lbs. and I have two older boys that I knew would want to ride it also. It has met all expectations! It was easy to put together and was easy to charge. My kids love it, as well as the neighbors. It moves well on all terrains. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!
Is great ride to have and learn on

My daughter loves ride. It was given to us and shse rides everyday. Does crazy things and dare devil. Drives crazy. I think it goes pretty fast and last for long time so fair. Only problem I have right now is the button to go forward and backwards is not working. we have to get new one some where. I think it got went when my daughter went in very small water. But she loves best toy
This product has multiple electronical problems
5/29/2011 by upsetinalbany from Albany NY
Over 1 1/2 years this product has had multiple electronical problems. Since sending back so large an item is not realy practical you must diagnose problem yourself. Then wait for manufacturer to send a part (one was backlogged for a month-no use of toy). Finally I just had the last straw and threw it out. What a waste of money. My son was very upset and cried.
it is a piece of junk
5/28/2011 by richie971 from cascilla ms
the reason i gave it 1 star is because it looks great and is very sturdy when it runs but that is the problem , it never does run i spent the first three weeks talking on the phone to the mfg and waiting on parts , i finally gave up and carried it back to walmart for a refund mine may have been a lemon but i would never buy anything made by them again . i have had alot of peg perego ride ons with no trouble and i will be going back to one again

I bought this for my god son(2 years old) in July of 2010, I have to say he beat the heck out of it for 3-4 months, it was put up for the winter, when we got it out this spring couldn't find charger, ordered a replacement $35($20+$15 shipping) and after charging it would not move. I talked to a tech and was told it was probably the shifter$20($5+$15 shipping), replaced shifter and it's up and running and he's back having fun. If you need these parts go to www.motiontrendz.com.
This Ride is perfect!

We bought this toy over a year ago for my son. He was 2 at the time but VERY coordinated. He has used this toy every single day that I let him outside and he LOVES it! He loves that he doesn't have to have help moving it around because of the 2 sppeds and the reverse. He had a smaller battery powered 4wheeler and it just sat and spun on the grass. This 4wheeler Has no problem gripping the ground. He has ridden it after it has rained and after it has snowed and never had a problem! I Love thatit has one slow speed so that he can ride it with his little sister and not go so fast it knocks her off the back, but in the high gear he is so excited because he is going "super fast"! This is just over all the perfect battery powered toy!

Very dissapointed with this product. I bought 3 of these the week before christmas. Within 4 months none would go into reverse. One month later they wont move, forward low, high, or reverse! Garbage!
Not as good as it seems

After having 2 Kawasaki Power Wheels I thought this would be good considering it holds more weight. Unfortunately it is a heavier machine in order to hold more weight & therefore goes much slower. It could not keep up with the 4 yr old Kawasaki. May be good for flat areas but we have hills, roots and small rocks our children ride over. I returned it & got a new Kawasaki Power wheels and am much happier.
Nothing But Trouble

I have had nothing but trouble since I opened it up straight out of the box. The battery won't stay charged at all. The sound box didn't work at all. I'll call the company and try to get some explanations as to why I got a terrible 4-wheeler. For what I spent on it, I expect it to be perfect and not a single thing wrong with it. Just horrible.
Not worth the money

This four-wheeler would not be good for an experienced 6-7 year old rider. The unit is slower than the John Deere riders and the fully charged new battery drains much quicker. Not happy at all with it and our 7 year old is bored to death....also very inconvenient to have to un-screw the seat to put in and take out the battery. In short....SLOW and only gets SLOWER as they ride it. The JD tractors (we have 2) last twice as long.

We thought this was going to be a very good product for our 3 yr olds birthday. When we opened the package the blue plastic was all faded and discolored, so we thought oh well it will just gte dirty anyway. So we continue to put it together and it is missing half of the bolts!!! So what do you do before the night of your kids birthday??? We went around and found spare bolts so our son would have something to open!! well after charging the battery the Amount of time you are supposed too finally our son is so excited and he gets on to ride it and it only goes forward! The rest of the peddles don't work!!!!! PIECE OF JUNK!! We are definately taking this back!!
really good product
easy to put together

I bought this for for my little boy when he turned 3. Thinking that it would be a little while before he officially could ride it. Boy was I wrong, he got on it, grinned from ear to ear and loved it! It didn't take him 10 minutes to figure out how to use the gears and steer it. I'd recommend this product to anyone! Love it!!
All in all, a very good product!

I purchased this for my 3 year old grandson last year. Similar products looked poorly built by comparison, so I opted for the Raptor. The maximum weight load exceeds the competitions, so the kids will not grow out of it as quickly. Other thoughts: * The battery (Yuasa NP12-12) costs $24 - $30 to replace. Proper maintenance absolutely required or it will not last beyond a year. Read the charging instructions and follow them to the t! * The battery life is fairly short before it requires a charging (1-2 hours). Charging takes 14 to 24 hours. * I suppose for safety reasons, there is no external battery charging hookup on the Raptor. You must remove the seat and disconnect the battery to charge it, making it easy for you to lose the seat retaining screw! * Two speeds and reverse - pretty impressive! High speed clips along fairly well, though not dangerously so. * The "tires" are hard molded plastic and will wear very quickly if used frequently on paved, concrete or other rough surfaces. * The instructions warn against shifting speeds while moving lest the transmission break. Really, now, what 3 - 6 year old is going to listen to such reasoning! Overall, I am happy with the purchase and would buy again.
My son loves this!

We bought this for my sons 4th birthday, he absolutely loves it! The only thing is the front wheel base doesn't turn real far.
Great toy for the money.

I bought this for my 4 y/o grandsons birthday, what a thrill! I a (50+) grandmother put it together with little effort. I did find the front bumper somewhat difficult since the holes were not lined up, but after an hour or so working on it, I managed to get it on. I also found one screw was put in wrong and stripped the hole, so DH put a larger one in and fixed that. The decals were poorly applied too, I would have done a much better job myself. But overall the quad is good quality and my grandson got a great kick out of it! I asked him as he was riding "how do you like your quad"? And his reply was a thumbs up and a wink! That was all thanks a Nana could ask for! Oh, and the battery lasted a couple hours before we put it away, and it was still running strong.
OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!

My 3 yr old son is in love with this and so aren't his parents. A little jealous - weight limit is 130 lbs so I can't ride it!! (haha) All kidding aside I bought this because our neighbor had one last yr and took it out this yr and still running great! They are so cool that the older kids in the neighborhood want to ride them and even the 10 and 11 yr olds love it!! Definately would encourage you to go with this one as many other friends of mine have had different four wheelers and this one is definately the best!!
Geez - Very frustrating

I bought this for my 3 year old son and it was great....at first. He rode it for about a week and then 2 out of the 3 gears stopped working. Luckily I had bought the warranty on it and walmart was very easy to work with on it. The exchanged it for another one, well he rode it for one day and then all three of the gears stopped working! I do not recommed this product at all, it was very frustrating and my son was sad! Now I am on the hunt to find somthing that he can enjoy, but I wont have to return! I do have to say that Walmart was very easy to work with on returning the product though.

This product is wonderful and durable.
Great toy and my son loves it. BUT we lost the charger and Wal-Mart does not sell them. We have still not found one to buy. I would have bought a toy made by hot wheels had I know it would be this hard to buy replacement parts.
4 year old fun!

My 4 year old just loves this! A great step beyond the Craftsman truck. Built tuff for kids too!
POWER + FUN
My Husbands parents bought this for my son for christmas 2010...WOW! It pulls on rough terrain & can pull my 3 year old & 2 year old daughter at the same time. After 2 rides my son was driving like a pro & backing up! I'm all about a review so if your thinking about this one....GET IT! Awesome buy and actually buying one for my daughter for her birthday next month. p.s. remember to charge the battery before you show it...it take a while.
Not what i expected

I got this thinking it would be as good as my daughters last 4 wheeler. she is only 28lbs and it spins the wheels on grass. I shouldnt have just bought it without reading the reviews. the charge only lasts an hour and a half. but i saw it on sale for 160 so i took it. i have twins on the way so i will keep it for them too if it lasts.
happy happy happy

My wife and I bought 2 of these for my stepsons (Her first two sons). They we so excited!! They have run these things all over the place. I have had a blown fuse on one but that was a quick fix. lost a hub cap on the other one. keep an eye on the black rod on the bottom toward the front. There is a piece of plastic that is holding it in place and it can and will break if rode off road in gravel! Over all this was a good investment and well worth their happiness, ten fold!!
Don't waste your time

My son is only 50 pounds and our yard is flat and this still happened.... Battery died w/in 1 hour of riding on the first day after charge, company told me to buy another one (by email since I could never get any one on the phone) At week 2 the shifter went out. After 3 weeks one of the back tires died so all my son could do was ride around in circles and at 4 weeks the whole 4 wheeler died. Customer service with Motion Trendz is impossible to get a hold of unless you do it by email and wait days to get a response.
Just what we needed

I bought this 4-wheeler for my 3 year olds birthday other than it taking so long to get it, it's just what I was looking for! The only thing I see that may be a problem is the handle bar moves way past the wheels and that could be something of my mistake! Other than that very simple to put together and is just the right size! I hope I can get the handle bar figured out!
Good but not great
3/29/2011 by VampireGirl101 from Massillon, OH
My son who is 5 loves it. I thought it would ride better in the grass than it does. We also have a patio that it rides great on. If I could go back I would have gotten one that has 24volts instead of the 12v.
Yamaha Raptor 700R vs Power Wheels Kawasaki KFX
3/28/2011 by StrongArm12 from Andalusia Al
Yamaha Raptor 700R vs. Power Wheels Kawasaki KFX I originally purchased the Power Wheels Kawasaki KFX for my 2 year old son and was impressed, It seemed a little cheaply built, but overall it did what I wanted it to do, however, after only 10 days the rear end stripped out, and left us disappointed. We then went with the Yamaha Raptor, and all I can say is wow! This 4-wheeler is far superior, from the positive traction rear end(which makes it nearly impossible to get stuck), to the heavier (and I mean it carries twice the weight of the Kawasaki, 130 lbs!) built frame! Another great feature on this product is it has a shock underneath the backside which makes it a much smoother ride! Where the Kawasaki would get stuck, the Yamaha keeps going, for what it is, it is a beast! We have a trail through 20 acres of woods; this 4-wheeler travels it many times, without ever getting stuck, and keeps a great charge on the battery! It drives through dirt, pine straw roads, knocks down small bushes and even climbs steep hills! This is a great 4-wheeler, and I feel is far superior to that of the Kawasaki!

We bought this for our two year old son and within the first day of riding he had it down pat. We started him out on the low setting then put it in high gear and he did great with it. He barely reaches the peddle but manages just fine. For all you parents out there who wanna lose a few pounds, put it in high gear and try to keep up with them............great workout!!!!!

Purchased this one and a Suzuki Quad for my twin grandkids. Both of them arrived missing the same part and with the same damage/hole to the box, the wheel assembly nut and washer. As they arrived in 2 shipments had to call the manufacturer twice to get the missing parts. It takes 7 to 10 days to get the part, so my suggestion is if you are planning on purchasing one of these, order them in plenty of time. I was told I could go to a hardware store and locate one that would work until the proper parts arrived. I suggested they might need to communicate with the shipper to let them know of this situation which seems to happen alot. I was told they were shipped from overseas so there was nothing they could do about it. I believe the twins will love these once we get them completely assembled.
3/16/2011 by mmga612 from Texas
We bought this almost one year ago and the charger no longer works.....funny thing, Wal-Mart doesn't carry replacement parts but they do carry the replacement parts for all the Big Wheels Fisher Price. 200 bucks and you can buy replacement parts at the store...have to order online.
yamaha raptor 700
This is an absolutely wonderful product, assembly was easy, my 3 year old loves it , run time is amazing, he drives up and down the street in high gear for 3 hours and it does not even run the battery down all the way,it does best in high gear for off-road use or going up hills
4 year old rides this all over the place!
2/22/2011 by gurumandy from Glen Rose, TX
I told my son to stay on the mowed grass and the driveway. He's 4-of course he didnt' listen! He rides this 4-wheeler through weeds, rocks, (that he gets hung up on occasionally, but he jumps off, pulls the quad off of the rock, and jumps on and goes!) We love this. It has traveled over mud, snow, cattle guards, potholes, and all listed above. His little brother, 2, also rides behind him because there is so much room. Together they weigh about 70 lbs. My only complaint is that the reverse sometimes works, but not always. The store told me to bring it back and they would give us a new one, no problem, but then my husband drove over one of the tires. Sooo, we will just get a replacement tire and deal with he reverse going in and out. I definitely recommend this product. We have only had a couple of months, but it has been ran through the obstacles for sure. We have owned a power wheel Harley Davidson (too low, but great for the city), a Monster Truck Grave Digger (great off-road, but $500, and still not as great as this one!) We have also owned a small PW Jeep. THis is by far the best deal for the value, ordered online with no problems, able to return to a store if needed, and it goes everywhere! Also gives enough room and protection if they hit a tree or vehicle. :)

We purchased this Christmas 2010 for our 2 1/2 year old son. We looked and looked and did some safety research before we made a decision. Super happy we decided on this! Was easy (enough) to put together, easy to ride, and so much fun for our little man! Great value as far as I'm concerned. The wheels are plastic, so if its muddy or real rocky it doesn't always grab that well, but no big deal. Also, my incredibly spoiled son convinced his grandmother to get on, and it goes with both of them. Not too fast, but I was not expecting it to budge. Oh, and for those of you worried about safety, put them in a helmet and don't stress. He will run smack into a tree at full speed and he barely lurches forward. Very satasfied with the total product.
Not what I thought
1/18/2011 by Coffeetime13 from NC
My 5 year old son who weighs around 45 lbs got this for Christmas this year. He loved it until.....it wouldn't go through the snow and spun wheels in mud. The seat broke the first day, and now the wheels keep coming loose when it gets rode, and the gears are already stripped after only 3 rides total. I would not recommend this product. Not a good value for what it cost.
1/2/2011 by Copperfish from Riverside, CA
Best value esp with the 130lbs wt capacity. No like products even come close not to mention those expensive brands (most only 65lbs max). Read one negative review and could be an isolated case. Will update on product performance next month after some usage just to be fair. Right now, exceed expectations! (Even better value is the Walmart $20 Care Plan for 2 years that starts only after the mfg warranty expried!) A side complaint is that it doesn't come with the assembly video as printed on the carton.
The kids LOVE it!
12/29/2010 by Amanda30 from Charleston, SC
My kids love it but my only complaint is that the batter doesn't last but a few hours.
An absolute wonderful product........

I purchased this item for my daughter who is six and about 60 pounds. I was looking for a powered toy that can hold her weight and last a while as she grows. This is the only item that holds the weight limit of 130lbs and also has 2 forward speeds and reverse! I love this item because it has completely exceeded my expectations. She uses it in the snow, dirt and on pavement and she truly loves it. This was worth the money asked and more. Btw I have seen so many other item that are much more expensive and don't include all of the qualities that this item does. This was def the best Christmas gift ever. Btw my daughter is 4 feet tall and has a lot of space on this item. Most of these powered cars don't have space enough for a child of her size to fit comfortably but I can def say this item leave space for growth. The handle bars are also adjustable both up and down n forward and back for maximum comfort!
My grandson love's it

Good ATV for the Price
12/25/2010 by Relaxed137 from Arizona
Purchased two of these for Christmas for my 3 year old and 7 year old sons. Charged it for 14 hours per the recommendation prior to christmas and did all of the assembly a few nights before. It took about 20 minutes to assemble, of which the most difficult part was making sure that things were right enough, especially on the handle bars. The vehicles went about 90 minutes on one charge the first time out. The turning radius is NOT good on these, and the boys seem to ride it on the 5mph speed the most. I have 1/2 inch rock in the back yard and the bike often spins out in the rocks and sometimes gets stuck if they stopped on a incline that the rocks were deeper. The traction of the plastic wheels isn't very good on cement and going up steep hills doesn't work very well if there's junk on the ground. Works awesome on the grass and rocks and flat sidewalks though. I only have a few complaints. First, you have to unscrew the seat every time you want to charge it. By now, you'd think they'd have a plug on the outside. Second, the plug to the battery is almost impossible to get apart and takes monstrous strength to pull it apart so you can charge it. I'm sure it will loosen over time. I am pretty disapointed in the turning radius, but the kids don't seem to mind. we have an acre-sized yard so it doesn't matter all that much. The front bumper is a pain in the rear to get installed. Trying to get those screws in such a weird angle takes about 20 minutes in itself. .

I bought two of these for my grandsons for christmas. Due to severe Illness was unable to assemble them till april out of the box 1 ran approximatley 10 hours and the other ran less than 1. it comes with 6 months warranty they walked me through repair once on each. i bought 2 year extended warranty. i have yet to take back to wallmart for them to honor it but I will. They still look new.
